Great Day of Temple Tours
Great day out touring the countryside with Angie. Useful overview of Thai history was provided on the way out and in-depth commentary provided during each temple stop. Very kindly helped to take excellent photos of our group. Only seven on our tour so felt like a private experience. Highly recommended. Was hot due to the time of year but chilled water was provided.

Ethical Elephant Sanctuary experience
It was a wonderful experience! We got to touch & feed the elephants! They rescue the elephants from the circus, places where they ride them and places where they work them hard. All of them are females who are or were pregnant & being abused. They don’t cage them, but let them walk freely. They feed them all day long & let them enjoy the water in the ponds daily. Glad I went & glad there are places like this. The only thing I didn’t like was that it was a 2 hour drive from Bangkok & nowhere does it tell you that ahead of time. We were in the car for 5-6 hours with pickups & drop offs and were at the sanctuary for 3 hours. That’s a long day in the car. People should know that before they book this.

Beautiful Waterfalls
Very well organised and presented by Tank. I felt the time allocated at each stop was enough for what it was: 25mins at the JEATH war museum 50mins at the Kwai bridge (timed to coninside with a passing train) 4hrs at the waterfalls. Nice air conditioned mini bus and water provided for the return journey. Left to own devices at locations, you don't have to hang out with the guide or the other punters. There is a suggersted restaurant at an extra cost for dinner which I opted out of. Note for waterfalls - take some slip on shoes/flip flops, as you'll be walking between waterfalls & dipping in & out of the pools. You'll be swimming with fishes, big and small, expect your feet & ankles to be nibbled. Be careful in the waterfalls as the rocks are very slippery - you could easily fall & sprain a wrist. There are lockers available at the start of the trail, but if you don't have one, any valueables will be left at the side of the waterfall whilst you swim - there are lots of creepy crawlies which could get into your bag.

Solo tour with Prin
Taking a solo tour was the best experience because Prin created a catered tour to everything I wanted or needed. We took breaks for as short or as long as I needed and let me explore as I wanted. She was very flexible and knowledgeable. She knows her history and she shared many great stories and rituals. She is best tour guide I have ever met.
