We had an amazing experience with our tour guide, Peter! He was incredibly informative and very patient, especially helping me with my elderly parents. He truly paid attention to every detail — from providing cool towelettes after a hot excursion to always having cold water ready in the van. Those thoughtful touches did not go unnoticed.
Peter even remembered all seven of our names, which made the tour feel so personal and special. Our driver, Mario, was also excellent — a safe and smooth driver who got us everywhere comfortably and back safely. We’re so grateful to both of them for such a wonderful day!

Of all our tours in Bangkok, this was the best one! Our guide, Time, spoke great English and was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. There was also alot of food involved! From the best noodles we had to lots of fresh fruit to take home to BBQ on the street. We were also very up close to the train and I appreciate that the boat we used was electric so it was less noisy and less smoke than the usual boat engines.
Our driver though he spoke little English was very warm and friendly. He made sure to get out of the car every time to open our doors for us. At the end of the tour, we received iced bottles of water and a cold towel! Definitely recommend both the experience and the service provided!

Sam—and my apologize for forgetting how to spell the driver’s name—were amazing as our tour guide and driver. They went above and beyond by taking me to a pharmacy so I could pick up allergy medication when my allergies started acting up. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Sam.

This tour was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Bangkok. Not only was the subject matter exciting and new, but Aey was an exemplary tour guide. Her personality is PERFECT for the job! She is smart and attentive, as well as a wonderful photographer. She made sure that my husband and I had an amazing experience in her country. Be advised that there are lots of tourists at Maeklong Railway so come prepared to stand your ground while vying for space to see the train come in and out of the station.

We genuinely enjoyed this tour from start to finish. The organization was excellent: punctual pick-up, a clean and comfortable vehicle, and very safe, considerate driving. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. She shared not only the key facts but also many interesting background stories and small details you wouldn’t find in any guidebook. She answered every question clearly and adjusted the pace perfectly to our needs — no stress, plenty of time for photos and short stops.
Maeklong Railway Market:
A definite highlight. Our guide brought us to the ideal spot just in time to watch the train pass through the market. Beforehand she explained exactly what happens, how the vendors prepare, and why the market works the way it does. Thanks to that, the moment wasn’t just a “photo opportunity” but a genuinely fascinating experience.
Damnoen Saduak Floating Market:
Very lively and interesting. With the guide’s explanations, the chaos on the water made sense — history, how the market operates, the different types of boats, and more. We received practical tips for bargaining, what snacks to try, and which stalls to avoid. There was never any pressure to buy anything, only honest advice.
Overall, this tour delivered excellent organization, plenty of insights, outstanding guiding, and a very comfortable day from beginning to end. We felt well cared for at all times. Simply put: it was fantastic.
Practical Tips:
Start early (cooler weather and better timing for the train).
Bring a hat, sunscreen, water, and some cash in small bills.
Keep your camera/phone ready — the train passes quickly.
Wear comfortable shoes (narrow walkways and sometimes wet surfaces).
Conclusion:
A first-class experience with an exceptional guide — informative, relaxed, and absolutely worth it. We would book this tour again without hesitation.

This was an amazing day. We spent several hours at the Mae Klong Railway Market (Hoop Rom Market) and the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. At the Mae Klong Railway Market vendors sell fruits, vegetables, fresh fish and meats, clothing, and souvenirs on the train tracks. What is most interesting is that a passenger train goes through the middle of the market. At certain times of the day, a siren comes on line and the stalls pack up there wares and lets the train pass through. It is so exciting. You can touch the train as it goes by. Quite a once in your life opportunity. The next stop was the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. We took a longboat along the canal through the community and experienced vendors selling there wares on the canal. You enjoy the boat ride and stop along the way to purchase items that interest you. People were very polite and very nice. We enjoyed this tour very much. A special shout out to Mr. Bakery, our guide, and Mr. Vee, our driver. Both took very good care of us. Mr. Bakery is an outstanding tour guide. Very knowledgeable. Answered all our questions. Very personable. Mr. Vee was always prompt in moving us from one location to the other. He ensured we were well taken care of. He ensured we had water the entire trip. Excellent driver. Felt safe as we travelled to and from Bangkok and each location along the way. Strongly recommend this tour. Well worth 5 STARS.
