Our tour guide Tammy was excellent and was great with our children. She had a quick Thai language lesson prepared for the ride to the markets. We learned a lot and got to experience the famous railroad market. She reserved seats for us at a soda / coffee shop that was within inches of the train!

Jenny the tour guide was amazing but the train ride could have happened on the bus. Hella hot for no reason. We only got to spend 10 mins at the train station couldn't really shop. The floating market was better but them old ladies be aggressive. Tiger bomb lady wasn't trying to let me leave. I was like I don't want it, it stank.

Jenny, our tour guide, is a superstar. She really took care of us. She got us a good view of the train at the Maeklong Railway Market. And when we got back to Bangkok, she helped us get the correct subway line back to our hotel. After helping us, I saw her get a taxi for another family. Highly recommend!

The Floating Market was too faraway from Bangkok, the Canoe shopping experience was too short considering the time travel in the bus ! the prices are higher compared to other shopping centres in Thailand.
The Railway Market is a must visit place in Bangkok even it is very crowded still an exceptional destination, specially when it was announced that train is approaching and shoppers must move their belongings away , tourists should mind the gab and turn back behind the red line.
Sam the Guide, made our day with his sense of humour, his knowledge and ability to tell the history in a funny way, his passion and his generosity.

Monkey Travel, specifically our guide, Jeed, was phenomenal. His expertise, care, thoughtfulness was the best part of this experience.
End of the day, this was too long of an excursion for a subpar experience. If these two markets were closer to Bangkok, maybe I’d recommend checking them out. But the authenticity of these markets were sullied by wannabe travel influencers capturing their picture perfect moment.
We were picked up at the hotel at 8am, didn’t leave the meeting point until 9:15 and then didn’t get back to the meeting point until 5pm. The majority of the long day was spent in the transportation vehicle. They also do not offer the hotel drop off after the tour so we had to figure that out on our own. Due to this I might recommend the later start to miss the horrible rush hour traffic on the way back into the city.
I want to reiterate that the travel company was great, this just was not worth the $ and time spent. I would not recommend to a friend.

The guide was good. The trip to the market was too far away & only for tourist's. Even the railroad market was just a tourist attraction. Only a demonstration train.

Wow! Such a great tour. One of the best we’ve done! “Uncle A” made the long ride go by super fast with his information and jokes. He also took great care to make sure we knew how to reach him and/or meet at each location.
The floating market is a very unique experience and we found so much good stuff there! Great for shopping. The railway market is also very unique and fun!
Unfortunately, you can’t spend much time at each place due to the long commute and traffic. Despite the time constraints, I felt they allotted the right amount of time at each. I highly recommend this tour. I feel like it is a must do in Bangkok!

Everything was great except our guide was inappropriate when speaking about Pattaya. She brought up the red light district. Her references were derogatory and insulting. There were children and kids on the tour and her history lesson should have been about the cultural things which make Thailand proud. We were offended by her comments. It degraded SE Asia and Thailand.

The hotel pickup, trip and guide were very good. When we arrived back in the middle of Bangkok city, we were dumped in the street with no hotel return. The guide did not help, we became anxious and It took some time and additional expense to get back to our hotel.
I would not recommend dumping anyone in a strange city, hence this tour is not recommended.

The drive was longer than the excursion. Poorly managed. Waited for 1.5 hrs before leaving meeting point. The floating market and train market were full and crowded, not enough personal time, and too many people to fully absorb the experience. The river was full, and was jammed with boats. HEAVILY POLUTED WITH GARBAGE AND THE SMELL WAS HORRIBLE.

We couldn’t understand what the guide was saying. Her English was poor. We also understood that we would get transport back to our hotel as we’d paid for a pickup. This was not made clear. Timings were poor.
