Very nice tour

The tour was very nice. Over the 3 places we were supposed to pass by, we did a quick stop at each one, not expected. That cut our time to stop at Plaka but we had enough time at Acropolis to enjoy this magnificent site. For future visitors, you only have +/- 15 minutes of your set time to enter Acropolis, otherwise you will be refused entry since they only accept 1000 visitors per hour per gate. A just go for a one in a lifetime experience. Highly recommended.

Our driver Dennis was amazing. All our sites were good. We came in April and it was busy but not as crowded as it can be in later in year. Everything is great. But be aware that the restaurant would not give us each our check. We had 9 of us and one of us (me) paid whole bill and other people has to just send me money. It was not easy to do that. We asked them to break the bill up and they said no. Also brought us more appetizers than we asked for (did charge us for them) . But the food was good.

Day trip to Corinth

The day trip to Corinth was the highlight of my trip. I was looking to have an experience of following Paul's footsteps and the excursion gave me just that. The day was well organised, from pick up, strategic stops along the way for refreshments and the lunch after our day was done im the small village. The group gets early phones to help navigate the ancient ruins. There's ample time to soak in the surroundings ans what life was at the time. Our last stop was at Cenchrea , the home of Phoebe. Our guide Nancy, was very knowledgeable and shared both historical facts and anecdotes with great zeal. Overall a worthwhile experience of the Corinth Carnal, ancient Corinth, with the still visible ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the fortress on the top of a hill, way above sea level with stunningviews all around and many more.

An easy paced tour of the Acropolis with a knowledgeable guide. We took the 10.00am trip, in April. There were no queues to get in, but by the time we left at 11.30 we could see that the line to get in was already long - so best to do an early trip. Quite expensive compared to a self-guided trip.

My experience in Athens exceeded all expectations

Having only a few hours in Athens during a layover, I decided to book a private tour with Colours of Greece — and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I made. Ruslan, who was my driver and guide, arrived right on time in a fantastic, spacious, and luxurious Mercedes SUV. During the drive, he shared the history of Greece — and especially Athens — from prehistoric times all the way to the present day, making the journey incredibly engaging and informative. We arrived at the Acropolis, where I purchased my ticket from the office next to the entrance. As I passed through the gates, a childhood dream came true — I was standing in front of one of the most important monuments in human history. After visiting the Acropolis, we stopped in front of the Old Royal Palace, where I had the chance to admire the Changing of the Guard with their perfectly synchronized movements. We then visited the largest marble stadium in the world, where the first modern Olympic Games were held. Next, we drove up to the highest point in the city, where I admired the breathtaking view of thousands of buildings stretching all the way to the Aegean Sea. I also have to mention Plaka — a place that feels like stepping into another era — along with Monastiraki and its vibrant market. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the energy to visit the Ancient Agora, which was the heart of ancient Athens, but I promise I will return soon. Thank you for everything, Ruslan! Learned a lot about Athens

Our. Driver, Stefanos picked us up at our hotel and we immediately drove to the Acropolis where we spent about 1.5 hrs exploring the site. We returned to our meeting point and met our driver and we began out tour around Athens. We chose not to visit any more ancient sites though he was willing to take us anywhere we requested Instead we learned about the different neighborhoods in Athens. I.e markets, gov’t buildings, the home of the president, had our picture taken with the military guard there. had delightful stroll through the botanical garden ending near the Olympic stadium. We enjoyed views from the highest point in Athens. It was a very relaxing and a very informative tour. We returned to our hotel on time. Stefanos shared his love for his country and provided us with a great morning.

Petros is Amazing! Great communication

Our driver Petros was amazing! Picked up in a luxurious van with bucket seating facing each other. We had a lot of luggage and the storage area in the back compartment, held everything with room to spare. Speaks very clearly in English. Had great conversations about the country. Allowed us to modify our timeline for additional fee but was well worth it. Highly recommend him for sightseeing adventure!
