Excellent tour
The meeting place was easy to find and very well organised. It's then only a short walk to the Acropolis entrance. Our guide was very friendly and approachable and made the tour really interesting and did his best to find shady spots whenever he could. He was also very consiencous about everyone's safety, making sure everyone had a bottle of water before we left and pointing out areas that were particularly uneven or slippery.

Rainy acropolis is still worth it
Dora was a great guide. Very knowledgeable about the acropolis and its history. Even with the rain, puddles, and crowds she remained patient with us and had our safety as her top priority.

Enjoyed!
"K" on the Ebike tour was great, knowledgeable and really ensured our safety. Was concerned about a tour in the city but was pleasantly surprised how a lot of it was on pedestrian paths. Ana on the Acropolis tour was very fun and also quite knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our day!

Jason our guide was great. Super knowledgeable of architecture, history, art, philosophy, etc. He made my 3rd time to the Acropolis the best one!

The tour is wonderful. ...
The tour is wonderful. We learned so much about the Acropolis and the Parthenon. It was fascinating to learn the culture and the government 2500 years ago! Our tour guide was excellent. We recommend including the museum in your tour. Beautiful artifacts and a city below the museum!

Wonderful visit to...
Wonderful visit to Acropolis and Parthenon. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and positively contributed to an enjoyable experience. Yes, you can do this without the aid of a guide as there are several stations along the walk with assisted audio, however the tour guide was able to add another dimension by responding to questions with additional detail.

A must see in Athens! Could be a tad shorter
Obviously a must see in Athens to go see the Acropolis! It was a hot and windy mid-day, so it was a little exhausting. It was fun to see everything, but we did feel like even 2 hours got a little long and the tour would be perfect to be condensed a bit to about 1.5 hours or allow the last 20-30 minutes for pictures. It was interesting though!

The tour begins in the museum, which s essential before seeing the Acropolis. Lisa, our guide, was very thorough and informative.

Great history, tour of Athens and the acropolis
Hermes was a great guide for our walking tour of Athens and the Acropolis. Our group needed extra time to walk and rest time and he was very attentive to make sure we were all comfortable. The history buffs among us lpeppered him with so many questions and he was beyond patient and a wealth of knowledge. We ran over our tour time, and he still walked us to the perfect lunch spot. Would definitely recommend this Tour.

Handy Acropolis tickets
We could not get our Acropolis tickets for the time we wanted via the government site (Hellenic Heritage), so these came in very handy. We ended up not using the Plaka guide (possibly advertised that way to account for the markup?), but the tickets were legit to an amazing experience.

When to visit

Choose between a standard entrance ticket and a multi-attraction ticket that includes access to other sites.
Admission lines can take up to two hours in peak summer, so it's best to book ahead.
The site provides little shade—bringing sunscreen, a hat, and water during summer is highly recommended.
Wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking over uneven ground.
Most areas of the archaeological site are wheelchair-accessible. Find an elevator on the northwest side.
Skip the line tickets are essential during the high season.
