Excellent tour
The meeting place was easy to find and very well organised. It's then only a short walk to the Acropolis entrance. Our guide was very friendly and approachable and made the tour really interesting and did his best to find shady spots whenever he could. He was also very consiencous about everyone's safety, making sure everyone had a bottle of water before we left and pointing out areas that were particularly uneven or slippery.

Rainy acropolis is still worth it
Dora was a great guide. Very knowledgeable about the acropolis and its history. Even with the rain, puddles, and crowds she remained patient with us and had our safety as her top priority.

Enjoyed!
"K" on the Ebike tour was great, knowledgeable and really ensured our safety. Was concerned about a tour in the city but was pleasantly surprised how a lot of it was on pedestrian paths. Ana on the Acropolis tour was very fun and also quite knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our day!

Incredible tour of the Parthenon
I loved the Acropolis and the Parthenon museum. My guide, Fortini, was excellent. Very glad I went early in the morning, as the site was very crowded later on. Fantastic experience all around!

Athens is Amazing
Physically demanding but worth it! My husband and I are 75 so the climb up the Acropolis to the Parthenon was exhausting in the 90 degree weather. Afterwords we enjoyed seeing the changing of the guards. Walking through Monistiraki was awesome, the relics are everywhere! Guides were very knowledgeable. Appreciated the bottles of cold water the driver gave us. The small BMW van was very comfortable.

Lovely acropolis tour!
Great tour! We explored the acropolis and learned a lot about the history. Our guide Anastasia was very sweet and welcoming. She was gentle and friendly, yet she knew how to maneuver and direct a group through the immensely crowded historical site. The one thing to be aware of is the amount of people visiting. Sometimes it can feel a bit overwhelming, so having a guide was incredibly helpful, you also learn so much more than any sign could tell you. Highly recommend.

Acropolis tour that will change what you think you know
The Acropolis and Parthenon is non-negotiable when visiting Athens. It is the history and soul of the city and monumentally important to the development of democracy. Our guide Marissa made the history come alive and was so engaging and passionate. She explained how this site was the evidence of the first democracy and how Greece was pivotal in changing the world. We were spellbound. Highly highly recommend

We had an excellent experience on our Athens tour with Garifallia. Her English was fluent and she made the whole experience enjoyable. She was very knowledgeable about the history and the sites we visited which included the Acropolis. She had great stories and beyond the expertise, she was genuinely warm and sweet. We highly recommend her to anyone visiting Athens. Our driver, Alexander was also excellent. Very knowledgeable as well and very friendly. Great experience all - around.

Try to go early, very little shade up on the Acropolis and mid day it gets very hot. Bring water. Other than that the tour guide was great and it was a very informative tour. Highly recommend

Choose between a standard entrance ticket and a multi-attraction ticket that includes access to other sites.
Admission lines can take up to two hours in peak summer, so it's best to book ahead.
The site provides little shade—bringing sunscreen, a hat, and water during summer is highly recommended.
Wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking over uneven ground.
Most areas of the archaeological site are wheelchair-accessible. Find an elevator on the northwest side.
