What are people saying about Amsterdam

Loved the tour!
The tour was very easy to book using the Viator app. We have used this on other tours in Europe and has always functioned well.
Our guide Ramses was very knowledgeable and gave us a very interesting/informative introduction to Amsterdam. Just got off a transatlantic flight this am but was interesting enough to push through. Very much recommend r fed

Iris, our tour guide, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and had a strong, clear voice so everyone could hear. The tour moved along at a steady pace. She also had a book and pictures so we could get an idea about the area and buildings. I strongly recommend her.

Good tour to take
So we took this tour yesterday with tour guard named Jacob, and highly recommend this company and tour to anyone who wants to learn about Amsterdam itself and the country in general.
Everything was well organized and efficient.
A few things to mention
1. Small group size. It was like 10 of us. Everyone was on the same pace and interests.
2. Picturesque views of Amsterdam. Pretty easy walking but good walking shoes are a must.
3. Lots of history and details were given.
4. The tour guard was helpful and attentive and very knowledgeable and professional

Amazing Bike and Tour experience with Parker!
Quick Summary: tour guide Parker was great! Great experience for bikers of most experience levels. If you don’t know about Amsterdam’s biking culture and have very little-to-no experience biking, I might sit this out.
This was our favorite ‘booked’ activity during our time in Amsterdam! My girlfriend and I did this activity because I really wanted to experience bike riding in Amsterdam. I have biked in US cities and have biked around as a primary source of transportation when I lived in New York. My girlfriend has much less biking experience than I do and was hesitant about this. Despite the difference in experience we both had a fantastic time biking in this tour. Some areas were very difficult to navigate but the group dynamic is nice and keeps everyone safe as long as you stay in the group. Inexperienced bikers should stay close to the guide. I was quite tired by the end of the tour, but I don’t think it was too extreme or difficult. We didn’t bring water but I wish we did! My girlfriend was upset they didn’t have electric bikes, these are standard three gear bikes.
Parker was our tour guide and he was definitely a highlight of the tour. His knowledge and expertise of Amsterdam was amazing. You bike through the different eras of architecture, having stops along the way where he explains the history of Amsterdam and moves up to modern sites and architecture.
This is a great idea for anyone that loves city culture and can handle a good bike ride. This is extremely recommended.

Interesting read light district guided tour
We had a guided tour in German with Maurice, an old, nice, easy-going, humorous guide looking like he was already familiar with drugs and the red light district as a customer. Made it more authentic.
He advised us regarding to good coffee Shops, the night life, Chinese Part of the district, a little bit of History, the prostitutes...
I was very satisfied.

Thanks for the flexibility!
Great canal tour! We loved our time with our captain and Boaz. He was very informative and gave us great stories and history of the area. We got delayed for our scheduled time and they easily let us switch to a different time to accommodate our family of 7. I’d recommend to anyone!

Don’t miss this tour!
This is a really worthwhile small group walking tour of the area known as the Jewish quarter during WW2. James are guide was so knowledgeable, affable, easy to understand and very open up discussion and questions. He showed things it would be easy to walk past - eg small plagues embedded in the stone paths and explained their meaning, took us to two memorials - the Jewish names listed in alphabetical order of the 130 000 Jewish killed in WW2 in Amsterdam, and the Auschwitz memorials as well as the building where the Jews were held before deportation. It was all moving and so interesting.

A highly positive...
A highly positive experience of a walking tour with a knowledgable, humorous guide apparently loving what he does and being healthily proud of his city. We ‘ve seen some hidden spots in Amsterdam that do also tell an inner story of the town - a far cry from tedious monologues on the splendour of buildings and sovereign long gone and forgotten ;-)). I would certainly recommend a tour led by David R., our guide for that day

Absolutely brilliant
Our guide was awesome she knew so many interesting Amsterdam facts and showed us places and stories along the food tour that were entertaining and so informative. The food stops were well placed and a great selection. Felt like a really personal well thought out tour. Highly recommend!

Loved this tour! Robin...
Loved this tour! Robin was a wonderful tour guide. He was so knowledge about the city and very engaging. I'd highly recommend this tour. We brought our two high school boys and they boys enjoyed it as well. We did this as soon as we got to Amsterdam and it was worth it to get an overview of the city.

Wonderfully fun and lovely canal cruise!
Jesse was a great tour guide, very funny and personable. Loved the trip and the sites. Tge only problem was it was a bit unorganized at the begining with so many boats coming in. Also my Mom is 82 and had a hard time getting into the boat. Wish there had been a plank to walk on.

A must for all travellers
Best to start any City visit with a tour by an expert. We opted for a small group tour with Sean. He brought together past and present the highlights being what to do and importantly where to eat. All great recommendations, which we never would have found.
