My husband and I spent 5 hours at The Van Gogh Museum… it felt like 30 minutes. The collection and history were curated in such a way that left you feeling like you were back in time with the Van Gogh’s. This museum is not to be missed. We had just seen many of his pieces in Paris and we were so glad we learned more about his life here.

Fantastic tour with Paola! She’s engaging, knowledgeable, friendly and made the museum so much more meaningful. She discussed how Dutch art changed over the centuries and how artists adapted their styles, techniques, and influences. Her perspective added depth and made the whole experience unforgettable. One of the best experiences of our trip!

Anna N gave us the best art history tour ever. She was so knowledgeable about van Gogh his motivation about his paintings, the history of the paintings and the time period. She has a wonderful insight into van Gogh state of mind for his for works. Highly recommend you book with her.

Nice tour from Amsterdam to see other parts of the Netherlands that many visitors don’t get to see. Rotterdam such the modern city, Delft the well preserved city and The Hague as a center of national and international politics and justice. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had information bits he played for us about the things we were going to see along the way. The guide got us to each place quickly and efficiently so we made great use of our tour time. Recommend this tour if you want to see more of the Netherlands!

Hans was on time, safe drive to the area and a very interesting tour. The pace was good for us, he made sure my husband was able to keep up. The talk was informative. Saw all the sights we wanted to see. Very useful to be able to skip some of the lines as we were with a guide. Would recommend.

This was a fantastic way to learn about Amsterdam’s history while exploring parts of the city that would have been too far to walk. It was actually a better option than driving, since some areas are only accessible by foot or bike. The pedicab was especially perfect given the occasional drizzle—it made the experience comfortable and relaxed. Along the way, we even stopped at a local vendor to try poffertjes, which was a great touch. My two sons really enjoyed the trip as well. Both Guido and Christian were incredibly entertaining and made the tour even more memorable.

Would 10/10 recommend this private canal tour. Was an excellent small group activity. Pap was a wealth of knowledge, funny, and open to our questions, etc. We are Ted Lasso fans and he even showed us where Rebecca fell in the canal and which house boat they were on!

We had such a great time on our private tour with Juan to Zaanse Schans, Edam, Volendam, and Marken. He was super friendly and really knowledgeable—he shared a lot of interesting info about each place without ever making it feel like a lecture. At Zaanse Schans, we loved checking out the clog-making demo and browsing the cute gift shop. Edam was such a charming little town—it felt so peaceful and picturesque, like something out of a storybook. Juan recommended a great spot for lunch in Volendam, which was one of the best meals we had. We also enjoyed learning about how the Dutch built and maintained their dykes—those illustrations were really cool. In Marken, Juan gave us a great explanation about the history of flooding in the Netherlands and how the country manages its water today. It gave us a whole new appreciation for how much thought and effort goes into keeping things running here. He spoke English really well and made sure to guide us along less crowded paths, which we really appreciated. Juan was also super patient and understanding with our group’s needs while keeping it well-paced. We’re really glad we had him as our guide—it made the day feel easy, informative, and fun. Highly recommend!
