Van Gogh Museum tour

Our guide Victoria was great. Met us on time at the meeting point, was very friendly, spoke English perfectly and was prepared. Most importantly her knowledge and passion for Van Gogh and his art was impressive. As a result we were made aware of aspects we would have missed or not known about. The tour was well paced. Victoria was open to different views in the group about the art which is important given the nature of art. Highly recommend this tour.

The tour was fun, interactive, informative, and filled with incredible local food and drinks. We enjoyed amazing apple pie at Café Hegeraad, a delicious Surinamese meal at Simz Eethuis, kibbeling at Jonk Volendammer Haringhandel, and a fantastic wine and cheese board at GastroVino. We also sampled Grolsch beer, traditional Ketel 1 Jonge Jenever, and a tasty bittergarnituur! What made the experience truly special was Todd. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and gracious, sharing fascinating stories about Amsterdam’s history, commerce, culture, and—most importantly—the warmth and kindness of its people. The tour guide was wonderful very funny amusing very communicative. Told us some really great information while we were in the bus and when we got to our destinations was very straightforward on meeting places and meeting times and how to get back and what to do while we were there . I drop off. He was also very very helpful when our Uber couldn’t find our location he got on the phone with the person helped him find us so we could get back to our hotel. He was truly wonderful. Great ride and a Windmill bonus.

Michael was a great guide. Very informative along the way. Made the group relaxed and have a great time. The best was when we stopped to look at a windmill and the caretaker was there. Michael asked it’s he could explain the uses and running if the windmill. The caretaker went above and beyond to start and stop the windmill, let us climb up a blade to get some great pictures and us so nice. Thanks Michael.

Very enjoyable experience, the time in the gardens was just perfect, not too long, not too short. Good time to wander around and have lunch there. The visit to the windmills was also very unique experience with plenty of time to enjoy the different shops, learn the history of the place and take some wonderful photos!

Trip is just as advertised. Very different and very enjoyable experiences! Lovely! Did not disappoint!

We have never had a bad experience with Viator/Get Your Guide. They are always on time, right where they say they will meet you (but be sure ahead of time that you know where that is!), and on schedule for return trip. Their guides have always been very knowledgeable and entertaining. We highly recommend them! The 3 places we went on this tour were just as advertised. We enjoyed the cheese making lesson and really loved Volendam, fishing village. Be sure to get a plate of whatever seafood you choose (can mix & match—I got a mix of fried shrimp and fried fish bites) at the seafood truck on the harbor promenade. Take some time to stroll along the water.

A lovely morning at Kuekenhof Gardens. Well organised from picking up the tickets at the Tours and Tickets in Amsterdam Station and transfer by coach from just ouside the station to the Gardens. Best to get there early before the crowds build up. The Gardens were lovely and tulip displays were impressive. Transfer back to Amsterdam was timely and comfortable. A good visit!
