Great time in Iceland
The guide gave good information as we traveled from place to place. The locations such as the lake and waterfall were beautiful, along with the drive! The baths were amazing.

Exceptional day
This was just an outstanding day covering the best of North Iceland in a small group. Siggi was an excellent, engaging and knowledgeable guide explaining everything from folklore to geology, considerate and helpful and an excellent safe driver to boot. I couldn't fault any of this day, best tour I've ever done anywhere. Simply magnificent 👌

Winter Wonderland
This tour gave us a great overview of several sites in the Akureyri area. And since we were visiting in January, provided a very different experience compared to summertime. Our guide provided plentiful information about local customs and legends that enhanced the tour.8

December tour
Ziggy was our guide and he was super. Shared lots of good Icelandic stories, teaching us about the area, its history and traditions. We saw all the sights within the daylight hours. Never rushed. Would definitely recommend 🤗

Mývatn Nature Baths
  • Myvatn Nature Baths is a must-visit attraction for nature lovers and those who want to reap the benefits of its mineral-rich waters.

  • Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit and towel, although both (and a robe) can be rented on-site.

  • Geothermal water in Iceland usually contains sulphur so do not bring brass or silver jewelry into the baths as the water can turn those metals black.

  • Built on top of a geothermal area, the humidity can reach 100 percent. Take turns cooling off in the outdoor showers.

  • The bath complex has lockers for safekeeping your valuables.

  • There is a restaurant on-site, serving lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks.
