No Vehicle - we bought public transport tickets

This tour promised an airconditioned vehicle for the sites outside the old town. But there was no such vehicle. Our guide Grazyna was nice and based on her advice , we bought one day public transport tickets to visit the sites outside the old town. Viator should provide truthful information for this tour.

Nice guide but she spoke poor English and was very disorganized. She also was a poor driver. We did get to see several important sights.

Misleading description

We booked the 4 hour private tour of Warsaw having used Viator for private tours of other cities in the past The guide was excellent however the tour description is very misleading There is nothing that indicates 3 of the 4 hours are actually a walking tour. We were not made aware until the guide arrived at the hotel for the “hotel pick” In 34 degrees and with one of the party having a disability it wasn’t possible to complete the full tour The guide Karolina was great and did the best she could but when she contacted the agent she was told it’s a UNESCO heritage site and cars are not allowed That’s fine but you should say that in your description For £162 for 2 people for a private tour certainly wasn’t value for money We probably spent 15 minutes with a driver Not sure based on this last experience if I will use Viator again

It is shame to hear that You were disappointed to some extent. Warsaw city tour, that You have chosen is partly on foot and partly with transport, as it is stated in the description. Thanks to that our clients could experience the restricted area from traffic such as Old Town (UNESCO heritage site) and on the other hand using a car, hop between main attractions such as Lazienki Royal Park and the city center. As You stayed at the Raffles Hotel which is located within a restricted area and by the Royal Route, pedestrian promenade is not allowed to use cars over there, especially on weekends. Once our guide realised that You are not prepared for longer walks, She modified a program with less walking and more sitting in a shadow telling about monuments, places and Warsaw history. She also advised to take a taxi, so You could have got closer to the interesting places, where the cars have no access. As You mentioned in the review one of the participant, had a disability. If we knew that in advance, we would contact You and propose some solutions and modifications in the itinerary. So far we have served many clients successfully and we always try to fit the itinerary to the age, experience and walking ability. Hope You will book again with Viator.
