Fascinating tour of post-WWII Warsaw with a number of stops we would not have otherwise known about or had time to see. Max was extremely knowledgeable and answered our many questions with good humor. I might have preferred a more modern vehicle, but I get the retro car is part of the experience… highly recommend for anyone interested in the politics of the Soviet bloc and life under communism in Poland.

A fabulous tour we learnt so much and was a great novelty being driven round in an old Fiat . Jacob was friendly, knowledgabke and very accommodating . Would definitely recommend this trip if you want to see and learn more about this fantastic city

Jacob was an amazing tour guide who not only answered all of my unorthodox questions but also went above and beyond by being flexible and adapting our tour to our specific interests! We also especially appreciated how he was willing to share with us his real thoughts about the historical decisions and the impact they still have today on the Warsaw citizens. Many tour guides try to maintain a status quo attitude and for a specialized tour like this, it is crucial that the guides themselves also have an opinion to share in order to facilitate meaningful discussion. We hope we didn't tire him out too much but seriously give my man a pay raise for how many tours he had to conduct on the same day, he was probably the most thorough I've had in all my travels throughout Europe yet!

Our tour guide, Karol, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took us to see some lesser-known sites as well as showing us architectural samples of buildings representing the Communist era in Warsaw. Riding in the vintage Fiat was also fun. This tour was a great complement to a small Communist museum (not included in this tour, but highly recommended).

Fun half day around the City. Konrad was quite knowledgeable on Cold War history! Saw several sights and learned new tid bits. Fiat was a fun vehicle for the tour.

What a unique and fun way to see Warsaw! Everywhere we drove locals saw the vintage car and smiled.
Our guide brought a marvelous perspective to the communist history of Warsaw as someone born into it and growing up as it was receding. He showed us examples of how people lived through those times and what the regime build to support its people. We saw the first apartment blocks that were supposed to be the model for future builds, but were not as they were too luxurious. We also visited "Stalin's Gift" that was not really a gift and took time to visit some of the ghetto's that are undergoing gentrification so we culd see the before and after.
Well worth the time and riding in the vintage Fiat was the cherry on the cake.

We had an excellent afternoon exploring Warsaw's history with Conrad. He was extremely knowledgeable, fluent in English, and offered a flexible and entertaining itinerary. Our guide was invested in portraying this history factually and free from personal biases. I would highly recommend this tour to others.

The tour was overall a nice experience. The driver was very Knowledgeable and friendly. However some things were missed on the trip, the snack and included shot of Vodka were not given neither was the souvernier photo which was supposed to be e mailed.

This tour was so much fun and incredibly informative! Martin was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about Warsaw’s history. The retro fiat was a great way to travel around the city. We would definitely recommend this tour to other visitors.

Some day we may book a similar tour but certainly never one better! Olga was our tour guide and she was exceptional. Not only did she have a command of the subject matter but she was able to relate and share personal stories that her family endured during this time period. Amazing! This tour is well worth the money and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Warsaw. As this time period played such a vital role in the evolution of Poland as we know it today, one would be remiss not to include this in depth look into a very dark time in their history. Not only did Olga masterfully drive the little Fiat through the hectic streets of Warsaw but she was able to answer a barrage of questions we threw at her while doing so. She made it fun and highly informative. Very well done!

Wonderful tour! We learned so much about Warsaw and Polish history during this tour. Martin took us to places the usual tour companies do not do. We took a “city” tour with another tour company the next day, and it was not nearly as good. We were really glad we had done the communism tour the previous day because we had the background knowledge to fill in all the information the second tour guide left out. This tour is a must!

The tour guide started the tour asking us what we want to see, again i would have expected him to have an itinerary ready. We were then taken to the Praga district and shown many many buildings that had been stripped of decoration by Stalin. We were then also shown a picture of a "black market place" from the communist era. That was the extent of the Communist history of the tour. The remainder of the time was spent again just driving around the touristy parts of Warsaw with no reference to the Communist era at all and no itinerary being followed. The guide was very surprised when i asked to go to the Communist Museum which it then turned out was closed. Very disappointing and no value for money again.

En spændende tur gennem Warszawas kommunistiske tid hvor vi fik meget af efterkrigstidens historie fortalt af en fantastisk guide. Turen var en god blanding af køretur og gåtur så vi rigtigt kunne se stederne tæt på. Han kunne også berette om personlige oplevelser, da han var født før overgangen til kapitalisme. Han viste os også hvor store kontraster der stadig er i byen. Det hele foregik på engelsk. Turen gik forbi mange steder som har betydet meget for kommunismen og om hvordan mange ting blev skabt som en facade for ikke at skabe uro i byen. En tur der helt klart kan anbefales- den er alle penge værd😊😊
