Meet at our centre and we will transport you. Note there is no on-site parking, you will need to park in one of the public car parks in Llangollen and allow sufficient time to find a parking space. Throughout the summer months, any school holidays and weekends this can take up to 1 hour.

Well worth the time, money, and energy! Was on my list to see the Aqueduct during my travels, and canoeing it was amazing! They also take you along the canal for a mile or so before reaching the aqueduct, so you get a chance to see the scenery and experience even more of this engineering marvel. The guide and staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip even better! Highly recommend.

A fantastic and special experience. Hannah our guide and instructor was super lovely and helpful. We all felt safe with her around. The life jackets were in great condition. Nice to be in a small group. Transportation was great.

After a short intruction and practice we quickly sorted out how to work together for the best paddling and steering. We all had an amazing time and it was great spending family time together in a shared experience. A couple of our family weren't keen on heights and were ok with going across the viaduct. We had perfect weather and despite it being really busy day on the canal we fell lucky and went straight across the viaduct with no need to wait. We also were lucky enough to have time to see the floating market that was at the end of the trip that weekend. All in all a great day. Being transported there and back in van was good as didn't need to go back again , ie it's a one way trip.
I would be mindful though of taking note when they say leave plenty of time for parking up as it was extremely busy in the town and did take a while for us to find somewhere. All staff were great, from reception to van driver and guide.

Fantastic trip on the canal over the Thomas Telford bridge. Amazing views and a good experience in a canoe for a beginner.

Great experience, the company are excellent, the equipment is very good, the leader on our trip was knowledgeable and entertaining. I would strongly recommend. The only thing that could be fustrating for some - is there can be quite a wait at peak times to get across the viaduct. Other than that we will definitely be back.

Well after our canoe with 3 of us on it capsized after being hit head on by a fast coming canal boat...and causing us all to fall in the canal..... what more can I say. We feel shaken and traumatised and I'm writing this the day after.

Fantastic, Well-Organised Trip!
We had a really well-organised and enjoyable trip over the viaduct. Everything was taken care of – the canoe, buoyancy jacket, minibus transport, and especially our guide Hannah, who was excellent throughout. A smooth, fun experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Good experience and guide Rory gave a good introduction and kept an eye on our canoes during the whole trip - not easy as we had different levels of proficiency.
BOOK this trip if you wish to have an experience with one direction/ one way - that was the BEST option. We saw some companies they had to do an U-turn/ round trip. After paddling for about 1:30 hours, one might not want to do the same again like us, so after another 30mins or so, we ended our trip with a pick up (already waiting for us) - EXCELLENT
Rory - said there were chances for ice cream and a break on the way, but the water was so busy that we had to move on, which was a bit disappointing - thought we would have a little break from paddling 🤓

Jordan and Josh were absolutely fantastic. My boys 11 and 8 had a fantastic time. The instructions we clear and easy. It’s was great we managed to have a quick stop

Our guides for the morning were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and made the trip a wonderful experience. We even got to get out of our canoes and have a walk around the aqueduct before going over and stop for a drink. Would absolutely recommend White Water Active.
