We had a wonderful day...
We had a wonderful day with Max. The trip was well paced and the scenery was beautiful both in Mumbles and Gower peninsula. Max was helpful and eager to share his knowledge on Wales and provide useful recommendations. We had a great day out and would recommend this tour to everyone visiting Cardiff!

Great Tour!
Mike was a great guide and so knowledgeable. He was very clear in his instructions when we were riding and we toured at a comfortable pace. We were lucky enough that it was just the two of us with him for the 3 hour tour. The Welsh cakes he treated us with were delicious and the coffee shop stop by the water was perfect. We would absolutely book again and thoroughly enjoyed our morning. 5⭐️!!

Great introduction to Cardiff
Great introduction to Cardiff and what's what. I find it's best to try and do tours like this at the START of your visit as it then gives you ideas of places to go and visit during your stay.
During the tour we explored the history and culture of Cardiff. Shown places to eat and artisan shops and places of interest - Stadium, Gareth Bale's pub amongst countless others. I was glad to be shown where Spillers Record shop is as it was somewhere I was wishing to visit during my stay and had forgotten about until I was stood right in front of it during the tour - alas it was Monday so it was shut!!
James was an excellent tour guide and made the experience both interesting and educational and fun.

Beautiful hike, incredible waterfalls, excellent guide
This was the highlight of our vacation. The beauty of this hike could not be understated. The waterfalls are truly beautiful and the trails throughout are really pretty from start to finish. Andy was a great guide and a friendly host for the day, providing plenty of laughs throughout. He also helped to pace us well to ensure everyone was able to feel comfortable. Could not recommend this more!

Very interesting for anyone, especially whovians!
We had a a great time. My son said "it was amazing". The tour was engaging and interesting at every point. We enjoyed Richard's titbits of experience as a Dr who extra along at the way. We came to Cardiff especially for this tour and we look forward to coming back to do another one.

Cardiff Tour with an Expert Guide
We recently took a four-hour private walking tour of Cardiff, Wales, guided by Tony, and it was hands-down one of the best experiences of our trip. If you’re planning to visit the Welsh capital and want more than the usual tourist highlights, we can’t recommend Tony highly enough.
Tony was an absolute standout guide—outstanding in every way. He provided all the essential information on Cardiff’s major landmarks, like the stunning Cardiff Castle (with its fascinating blend of Roman, Norman, and Victorian history), the elegant Civic Centre, and the vibrant Cardiff Bay area. But what really set this tour apart were the little-known facts he shared that you won’t find in guidebooks.
He pointed out hidden gems like the secret tunnels beneath the city streets, the world’s oldest record store (Spillers Records in the charming Morgan Arcade), and quirky historical tidbits about Cardiff’s coal-exporting heyday and its surprising green spaces (more per person than any other major UK city). He even delved into lesser-known stories about ancient sites nearby and some of the city’s eccentric past, which added such depth and intrigue.
What impressed us most was how engaging, energetic, and genuinely passionate Tony was throughout the entire four hours. He never seemed to tire, kept the energy high with his storytelling, and had a great sense of humor that made everything fun. Best of all, he tailored the tour perfectly to our interests—we mentioned a love for history and architecture, and he adjusted the pace and focus accordingly, skipping some areas to spend more time on the things we were most excited about. It felt like a personalized exploration rather than a standard group walk.
The four-hour duration was ideal—not too rushed, with plenty of time to absorb the sights, ask questions, and even grab a quick coffee along the way. We covered a good amount of ground comfortably, and Tony’s local knowledge made navigation effortless.
If you’re visiting Cardiff, do yourself a favor and book a private walking tour with Tony. He turned what could have been a nice sightseeing day into an unforgettable, insightful adventure. 5 out of 5 stars—highly recommended!

Pleasant experience
Mr.Max was our guide. It was a nice experience to trek to the Batman cave & Henrhydd waterfalls and the Caerphilly castle. It was nice to take a stroll among the sheep on the rolling hills near Pen Y Fan of Brecon Beacons national park. Overall a pleasant tour. Mr.Max gave us so much information not only about the places we visited, but about Welsh cuisine, foods to try, restuarants to try, places to visit, the language etc. Finally, a keychain (a souvenir) with the Welsh flag with the red scorpion was given to all.

Great experience!
I had a wonderful day out! Our driver was extremely informative and knowledgeable, sharing great insights throughout the trip. We visited many interesting places, and it was an excellent way to get a feel for what Wales has to offer. I would definitely recommend this experience.

I had so much fun on...
I had so much fun on Gareth’s tour! It was a long day, but it felt like we spent the perfect amount of time at each of the locations while learning plenty of facts about Welsh history and culture. Gareth comes from a background in history—and you can tell just how passionate he is about sharing his knowledge with others! He’s a wealth of information and had plenty to cool facts to share on some rather obscure topics. Thanks for the welshcakes, and absolutely everything else Gareth! :)

We received everything...
We received everything and more than we expected in this tour experience. Gareth, took us to our prescribed destinations, but more than that he provided in-depth history of the region, country and relations to surrounding countries. Gareth also helped us understand the evolution of the Welsh language. Gareth was able to answer all of our questions with 1st, 2nd and 3rd level details and descriptions. If/when we come back to Cardiff we will certainly schedule a tour with Gareth to explore the other nearby areas we didn’t have time to explore.
