Wonderful tour! We experienced foods that the locals eat and from the various cultures that make up Victoria. Brenda was a great guide and gave us suggestions for additional food and activities. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing! So much food, so much variety, easy walking, great company. Best thing we did in Victoria!!! We traveled as a group of 4, 3 of us were vegetarian and they accommodated this with great alternative options.

This tour was the perfect combination of great food, exploring and history. Our guide was absolutely amazing. She provided us with so much information and was just lovely in general. The culinary stops were all top shelf and were very accomodating when it came to dietary restrictions. I would 100% recommend this tour.

A delightful tour with wonderful Wendy, but with some strange venue choices

Wendy was an absolute superstar and deserves so much credit. She made our tour fantastic and gave us lots of great insight into the city. As we were the only ones booked on that tour we also got a very personal experience which we loved. We also ate lots of good food at all the venues! We have given 4 stars not 5 because some of the food choices seemed odd. We expected specific local Canadian or BC dishes or eateries, and it did feel an odd choice to eat where we did, although all of the food was very tasty. We had food at a local Korean place, a local Mexican place, a French macaron place, a French chocolatier, and finally (and what did feel most strange) a restaurant attached to the tour guide venue where we ate a single dish from the menu. Like I say we got great quantities of food for the money we paid, a fabulous guide and the food was all very nice too, but they seemed like very strange choices on a local food tour.

Vasi and Off the Eaten Track was a wonderful way to experience Victoria. Great variety and tastes of Victoria’s culinary culture and Vasi was wonderful at explaining the history of Victoria! Definitely recommend!

Vasi was our guide. Can't say enough about her! Knowledgeable, gracious, and shear delight. Loved her! Diversity of culinary selections was impressive. Sampling of food crossed regional boundaries, both locally and globally. The tour is well worth it. I give it my highest recommendation.

Wonderful food walking tour! The small bites were delicious and varied — a great way to sample so much without getting stuffed at one stop. I loved the unhurried pace; it never felt rushed, so we could actually enjoy each place. The guide was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and it was clear the restaurants genuinely cared about giving us a great experience too. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a relaxed, delicious way to explore the food scene!

Eric, our tour guide, has a lot to share on this local foodies tour of Victoria, including history and things to do and see. He is a wealth of Victoria information, familiar with the local shops and restaurants where we enjoyed interesting and tasty delights. including an unusual Korean specialty, a 'soft bar' with an amazing winning interior focusing on a variety of non alcoholic brews, soft drinks, and a focus on tea bricks (If you have read Lisa See's "The Tea Girl of Humingbird Lane" you will know this form of tea vs our lose leaf/teabags). We also enjoyed a chicken mole taco with 'grandmother's recipe', sweet treats at three locations (chocolates, macrons, and a pastry shop where we enjoyed Bourbon Pecan mini tarts). We did NOT leave hungry!

Easy to find starting location. Large portions of food to try. The tour guide was friendly. The first two stops were the best. Husband had the chowder and I had the salad. The Korean corn dog was huge and tasted great. Many things to see along the way. Come to the tour hungry.

Our guide Eric was very knowledgeable about the food and history of Victoria. Unfortunately our cruise had to leaver earlier than expected due to weather so we were a bit rushed but all in all It was a great tour.

Erik was excellent, with stories of early city development & personalities. Over two hours walked &talked. Hit seven locations. Korean Corn Dog[Smile Chicken], Bon Macarons, and Chocolat & Co., and Seafood Chowder @ Steamship Grill were the best. Recommend replacing others. All things considered, worth the time and cost[$178].
