Not as expected. Guide was pretty poor. Not a lot of history. Didn't even tell us about the parade that happened while we were walking around, so we missed it. Not loud enough most of the time. I wouldn't do it again.

Thorough tour of downtown Victoria. A very knowledgeable guide - good pace. Not too difficult even for older tourists. Well worth the $50 per person we tipped.

Our tour started with massive confusion about the starting place. Opening the Viator booking, Meetup/Drop Off details, it said to Meet up 2pm, Drop off at Start Point, but didn't list a Start Point. My notes said one place, the picture showed another. Apparently, the tour company sent an email detailing a third place that I didn't see. It was a frustrating start. The tour guide agreed to pick us up where we were and she was really nice, but she basically told us what things were, but not much by way of storytelling. We were guided to some places we hadn't discovered ourselves, the pace was good, and being tips-based, we could decide what it was worth to us, but overall, it wasn't a very compelling tour. I only gave this 3 stars because Viator says 3 stars is Average, and this tour was average at best.

Kaitlin was great! We went to the main hot spots in Victoria along Government Street and Chinatown. Fan Tan Alley was fun!

Tour led by young girl who took off walking. We ended up far behind before she noticed. We are 76 and 75 so it was not her fault that we had trouble keeping up. We decided the tour was not for us and left. Other people seemed ok.

Joe was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The pace of the walk was perfect for us. We learned about the “haunted” sections and the old jail. We walked through China town and Fan Tan Alley. It was all fascinating. We had plenty of access to washrooms along the way. Joe’s knowledge was factual and the photos he shared helped understand the historical points he shared. It really was just awesome!

Good info from our guide. But didn’t know before hand that the recommended donation is $30.. A lot of facts of historical buildings and areas of Victoria.

The tour provides a great introduction of the main downtown and inner harbor areas. It’s a good way to decide which of the main attractions you’re going to come back and dedicate more time to. Our guide, Camilo, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and shared a great list of his recommendations of things to see and do (and eat!) on the island.

Unfortunately we did not have a great experience. We ended up leaving the tour with in the first 30 min. We stood for long periods of time, listening to endless historical facts and not enough time walking and listening to key fun facts about Victoria.

Company cancelled the tour because there were not enough people signed up. Although the company cancelled, I kept on receiving reminders all day to join the tour which was extremely annoying.

Did this tour our first morning in Victoria- family of 5 with three kids aged 15,12, & 7. All three enjoyed it. It helped them seem some options that we could explore on our own. The tour guide Sarah was great with the group - from the kids to the adults.
