Martina was our host on the tour, and beforehand we had very clear instruction on our meeting point.
It was just me and my husband on this tour and so it became a private experience and we loved every minute. Martina took us to restaurants we may have walked past, explained about the foot and we learned out the history of pasta.
I’m now a stone heavier, and still have a smile on my face.

This Dinner food tour was a wonderful mix of history, culture, and so much food and wine! We enjoyed our tour guide and every one of the stops we made at local restaurants. The places we visited were more local and less touristy. A must do while in Verona!

What a wonderful evening! Martina was delightful and personable, sharing interesting sites on our walk as well as delicious, authentic, local dishes at places we wouldn't have found on our own. Plus, she helped me practice my Italian! The group had 10 people, which kept it reasonable.

Francesca - a Native of Verona - walked us through locations beautiful to 4 special restaurants - each with their own unique place in this area of Verona- neighborhood establishments with warm greetings and delicious examples of Veronese cuisine. Small bites to pasta - paired with local wines - then gelato - every bite was delicious. So worth the time and money...this is an experience in 3 hours that it would be impossible to do on ones own and to top it all with the best of company.

Great tour to take to experience a variety of the local cuisine that showcase Verona specialty. Emma was a wonderful tour guide that had a lot of knowledge and background about Verona. You can definitely tell that she's very passionate about her city. We've had tour companies cancel on us in the past for being the only pair but they were super generous to still let us go on the tour and get a mini private tour. Towards the end of the tour the Gelato place that we were going to go was closed and Emma was quick on her feet to take us to a bakery to try some amazing traditional baked good and a coffee for my partner. Overall an amazing tour to take.

Extra props to this tour and our tour guide, our train ran very behind schedule, so we were an hour late. However the tour guide gave us directions so we could jump right in the middle of the tour. The food was great and Emanuela was a fantastic guide. She was very knowledgeable and took us places we wouldn’t have thought or even tried to go. Very much worth it if you want to experience the food in Verona with the Italian culture. And again, major praise for Emanuela. Even after the tour we had walked the same direction away, and she stayed an extra 20 minutes and showed us where we could get Italian coffee to take home. 10/10!

I can't imagine a better guide than Giulia to host me and my Mom on a private culinary tour of Verona! Giulia was kind, witty and knowledgeable about the food, wine and culture. She showed us spots we wouldn't have otherwise discovered and gave us recommendations for things to do after the tour. It felt like we were spending the day with a friend or family member. We had very little time to spend in Verona, but I thought a food tour would be a fun and unique part of our trip to Italy and a great way to get to know this region. I was right! We had a wonderful young woman guide all to ourselves for a great afternoon. It was five of us in our group. We started at a small restaurant for appetizers, then she walked us about ten minutes to another place for a first course. Then another walk to a different restaurant for the second course. Followed by a final walk to a really authentic (non-touristy) gelato place. The walking through Verona was part of the fun. Our guide shared lots of info about food traditions that are unique to the city and region. We had the opportunity to try things we had never eaten before-including donkey meat (If no one had told me what it was I wouldn't have known-it was delicious!). Everyone in our group loved this experience and considered it a great highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!

Julia was a lovely and knowledgeable guide! She took us to four different spots in old town Verona. We all shared appetizers at the first stop and were able to order our own dish at the next three stops. It was more like a progressive dinner than a tasting tour. Julia made great suggestions about the local specialties. They were very accommodating to my friend who is a vegetarian.
