We were not contacted that the tickets were altered to 9:15 vs 9:00. The Vatican Museum needs every minute you have.

We waited at the ticket office for our guide and then she led us to the lines, skipping all the long ones! We got in around 9:35, our time was at 9, but we got in super quickly. Lydia was a great guide and got us there.

This was definitely a scam. The only thing that this tour company did was get us to the entrance of the Vatican Museum. There was no assistance given inside, explanation of how to go through the museum or even a map given.
Definitely not worth the money.

Again, I personally walked you to the entrance to skip the long queues as what was listed on your ticket bought.

Lydia was great! We met at the meeting point and she escorted us to the front of the line, and we entered the Vatican museum effortlessly with her guidance. Highly recommend if you do not want to use a guide and want to skip the very long lines to enter. Thank you Lydia!

Lydia, who helped us get to the Vatican Museum entrance was very helpful, professional and nice. She deserves a 5-Star for her great services.
However, this particular tour operated by Dream Awaits Tours, booked through Viator, is massively misleading as it says ‘skip the line’ but you still need to go wait in line for your allotted time spot. We have bought many ‘skip the line’ tickets and they were truly skipping those long lines and instead entering through tour group gate. For the price differences you pay, be aware of this situation

My family and I wanted to have the freedom to explore the Vatican on our own pace, why we did not book a guided tour. Two hours prior to meeting up at the designated spot to pick up our tickets I received a text from the coordinator telling me they had not received my tickets. They offered me to either ask for a refund from Viator OR pay 150.00 euros and they will change our tickets to a guided tour. 😳. We did not want a guided tour! Yet felt we had no choice but to pay the extra money in cash/euros to get into the Vatican that day. The lines were very long and we had our trip activities scheduled for each day again felt we backed against the wall. Our tour guide was great however we paid close to 400.00 euros for a two hour visit when we had planned at least half a day. My review is to make others aware of this switch and bate.

One must have skip-the-line tickets!! Lydia, our contact person, met us promptly at the meeting point to give us our tickets and walked with us to where we needed to line up for our timed entry of 4:30 p.m. She was very helpful and pleasant and explained the process for entering the Vatican Museum. We didn’t realize that St. Peter’s Basilica closed at 6:30 p.m. so had to hurry there after we toured the museum and the Sistine Chapel. It is a significant walk between the two, so one should plan for a 20 minute walk, at least. We happily recommend this tour!
