As always lots of flies so you defo need fly nets.
If you can request your tour guide to be Alex you will not be disappointed. Knowledgeable, informative, kind and helpful. Also great at taking photos on your phones/cameras.

Our guide Lucia was very good and this was a very good 5 hour small group afternoon/evening tour. She took us to the Information centre, and we did walks to a water hole and a 2nd water hole/gorge right at the base of Uluru. She was very good at telling us the the history and she drove us around the whole base, pointing out certain areas of Uluru and telling us about the Aborigine stories. Before sunset she took us to a viewpoint where we had nibbles & sparkling wine, then saw the sunset near Uluru. I would recommend this tour

Great experience and very educational. The walking area is flat and at an easy level for fitness. Our guide was knowledgeable and nice. It was lovely to have a drink and watch the sunset over Uluru.
MariaAriadne_K, Jan 2026
Our guide was excellent - she was knowledgeable, very efficient and engaging. She took us to all the important spots around Uluru and helped us understand their significance and history.

Lorenzo was a great guide and story teller. Awesome experience. A fantastic adventure when in Australia.
Christopher_S, Jan 2026
Involved some light walking, if not too hot the walking is easy. If going in summer definitely get a fly net, so many flies! Overall a great tour.
Rolando_A, Jan 2026
Great tour. Our guide Rachael was fantastic! Very hot weather during the summer and PLENTY of flies!!! But despite this, very educational tour and beautiful place to visit.

Small group tours are great! Michael our guide provided so much fascinating information, which really helped us to understand the history and relevance of the amazing sights we saw.
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Uluru.

It was an amazing, one in a life time experience! Andy, our tour guide was absolutely brilliant with his knowledge and insight on the history of uluru.

Dimitri was great, small tour was nice — it was great only having six other people, it was very easy to maneuver, and the walks were not strenuous.

What a wonderful tour. Flo was our guide and she was awesome! She knows all of the local history and stories and was entertaining and kept us interested. She made this trip! The sights were unbelievable. Highly recommend.

Fabulous tour with Jackie. Very engaging. Wonderful to hear the stories of the indigenous people. Lovely welcoming small group. Jackie is a fantastic guide- nothing was too much trouble and she is a great story teller.

Lucy did a fantastic job introducing us to the park, making us feel included, answering questions and identifying birds for me!

This was an excellent way to see Uluru! First, SEIT provided hotel pick up and drop off in a comfortable Mercedes sprinter making the logistics easy. Then, our knowledgeable guide, Jackie, explained the history and culture of Uluru and its indigenous people. Jackie was excellent in telling the ancient stories and pointing out the significant geology of Uluru. I learned a lot on this tour. Just the right amount of walking, lots of photos, and a grand finale of a glowing sunset accompanied with bubbly and snacks.
This is an excellent tour!

We spent several days at Uluru & Kata Tjuta and this tour really was the highlight of our trip. The cultural center added to our experience and the staff were so friendly and informative. The base walks were wonderful and the information shared certainly added to this part of the tour. And, sunset at Uluru was just wow! Watching the colors change was something I’ll never forget.
But, what made this tour so special was our guide Lili! She was exceptional. She made a real connection with the group. Sharing her love of the area, the cultural significance of the land and the people, and her personal experiences greatly enriched our understanding and our experience. Her love for what she does was evident. Thank you, Lili!
I would recommend this small group tour to anyone visiting Uluru.

We saw the Uluru rock up close. We visited the cultural center and learned about the Anangu people and origins. At the end we saw a beautiful sunset.

Awesome tour. Interesting and knowledgeable guide. A small group allows us to go places coaches can’t.

The worst and the quietest tour guide I’ve ever met—his name was Peter.
The first thing he said when I met him was, “How’s your English?” Then, he started every sentence with “If you understand me,”. Thank god our group had a native English speaker, because he only spoke to her, assuming we wouldn’t understand. WHY WOULD I BOOK A LOCAL GUIDE TOUR IF I DIDN’T UNDERSTAND THE LANGUAGE?
(Well, he did try to explain something to the native English speaker, but his explanation was sadly poor. In the end, we got more information from the written signs.)
Every word that came out of his mouth was like, “Ok, this rock, snake.”
“Cave.” “Bush boys.” He didn’t even make an effort to say a full sentence. I get that he really wanted to go home, but we paid $280, so at the very least, we expected more than that.
Don’t waste your money—just book the cheapest tour you can find. In the end, all you get is a ride. I went through countless reviews before choosing this tour, but it was a BIG FAILURE. The reviews were probably fake.

Hailey is an excellent guide, knowledgeable & respectful of the Aboriginal culture here in Uluru. She was also very responsible about ensuring everyone stayed hydrated in the extreme walking temperatures.. it was a good introduction to the area but overall thought the tour cost was a bit high. Sparkling wine & appetizers very minimal.
MLR_D, Jan 2025
Involves some walking, do take a hat, sunglasses and lots of water. You will learn a great deal about the original people of this area. It was a once in a lifetime, educational experience. Highly recommended.
Melissa_B, Jan 2025
Our tour guide Pete was the best! His appreciation and respect for the indigenous culture and land really came through and made the tour so much more enjoyable even in 43 degrees!
Alessandro_G, Dec 2024
The driver/guide was always with us and very cooperative. One of the best if not the best excursion we ever had. Thumb up
Cheree_C, Dec 2024
Very informative, Lots of great photo spots, Great size group, Tasty nibbles and nice champagne (for beer people 😉), Super nice guide - Thanks.

The tour was excellent organised. Our tour guide Herman was so knowledgeable and passionate. The group size of 11 participants makes it easy to get the best impressions of Uluru.
I highly can recommend the tour.
Ramona_D, Sep 2024
This was the best tour we did in Uluru. Liked the base walk portions and the drive around Uluru. Very informative and walkable for older adults. Herman and Tess were fabulous guides. The sunset viewing experience to end the day was fabulous. Small group in a comfortable bus is a must do.
stephx, Sep 2024
Rachel was a great tour guide and provided great insights into the importance of Uluru to the indigenous Anangu people. Great care was taken to ensure the information was accurate and respectful.
This tour is ideal if you do not want to do the full base walk as it stops at 3 culturally significant sites with a guided walk. The tour ends at one of the quieter sunset viewing platforms.
The group size on the day was 10 people so we didn't get the bigger crowds and could really appreciate the surrounding scenery.
Kimberly_D, Aug 2024
This tour with SEIT was great! We went to the cultural center and did two walks at the base to see watering holes and cave paintings before heading to view the sunset. Our tour guide Michael was wonderful although he was a bit difficult to understand for some members of the group. We were a bit rushed getting to sunset on time, so I would recommend spending a bit less time at the second watering hole. The drinks and snacks during sunset were lovely.
Robert_V, Jun 2024
Hanna was a great tour guide, very informative and respectful of Aboriginal customs and traditions. We had a great, fun afternoon and evening. Highly recommended
Sandra_W, Mar 2024
The rain made the experience! Yes, no sunset but seeing the waterfalls run off Ularu was very cool. I know our guide Michael was new and probably going on his first solo as a guide, but he did reference his book when needed. It was a fun evening. As we drank our Mimosas the clouds descended the rock and that too was a very unique experience. Good job is my shoutout to Michael.
