Our guide Andy was great. We went to salt lakes, drank sparkling wine with a fantastic view, then had such a nice dinner at the cattle station.

Excellent experience! Our friendly tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the region, along with each stop on our tour. We ended our day at Curtin Springs and shared a wonderful home cooked meal prepared by 3rd generation family. An unforgettable experience!

An amazing tour in every way! The guides were wonderful. One was being trained, and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. We spent time at one of the salt lakes near Mount Conner,,stopped to view cows, parrots, and camels, and get t a special b view of the back side of the mountain, which is very different from the front. We stopped for champagne and cheese while watching the sunset, and then headed to Curtin Springs Station for a great dinner. The 8 hours flew by. I highly recommend this tour, which is also handicapped accessible. My friend has MS, and used her wheeled walker quite easily in the rough terrain.

What a great tour. Small group, great guide and some of the best views of the local area. Watching the sunset on Mt Conner wuth a glass of bubbly in hand, just magic. Bring your fly nets!

Dan and Ben were great guides—knowledgeable about the history of the cattle station, as well as the area and the land. We enjoyed their stories, and they answered any questions our group asked. Sparkling wine and snacks at sunset on the ranch, and dinner at the homestead were wonderful! We especially liked having a small group tour; there were 6 of us on the tour, and they take a maximum of 11. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Dan and Ben!

Our Guide Hayley was amazing and the small group tour was just the right size. 4wd was very comfortable and we ended up seeing and experiencing things that we would have missed completely. Highly recommended

This tour was EPIC!! Our guides Georgia and Hayley were full of fun facts and great stories and it was a wonderful insight into the tough life of the ranchers running remote homesteads in the Northern Territories. A real look at a side of Australian life often missed by tourists as well as access to Mt Conner and a visit to a salt lake. Cannot recommend this tour enough!

I enjoyed being with a small group. Everything was very well organized. I like to do something exclusive. Something I won’t do by myself. The guide tour was just great.

Johanna was a great guide and we loved the 4-wheel-driving and the wonderful views. A very enjoyable trip.

Our guides Johanna and Michael were brilliant taking care to include anecdotes and history while touring one of the most wonderful scenes in Australia. We also met Ashley and Lindsay. The current masters of their cattle station domain. It is a hard and unforgiving life but they live it with determination and gusto.

If you want to know what life is like on a cattle station in Central Australia, this tour will give you a taste of it. Our guide Imogen provided excellent commentary about the history of Curtin Springs cattle station and how it became a tourist stop before arriving at Uluru national park.
The tour will give you access to pastoral leased land that includes a salt lake visit in all its pink glory (you can also take a few lumps of salts with you as a souvenir) and spectacular views of Mt Conner from different sites. Note that you can't actually walk around the base of Mt Conner in this tour.
You'll see a few cattle that roam freely in the 1m hectare of pastoral land, flocks of galahs and also learn how cattle is mustered when water is scarce. There's lots of stories along the way about the larrikins and the Severin family who made Curtain Springs their home.
The view of Mt Conner from the sunset spot was breathtaking. We had a three-course dinner at Curtain Spring station. Tip: BYO steak knife. You're gonna need it.
It was a very enjoyable trip if you have an extra day at Uluru.

The guide Wayne was humorous and his knowledge and experience of the area was amazing. He was kind, friendly and no request was too big- if he could make it happen, it happened. It was nice being part of a smaller group and in a smaller vehicle!

Thanks, Dan the Man in the Van. Lots of fun, very informative and the perfect massage...haha. Thanks to the Severin family for letting us venture onto their land.
Norman_D, Feb 2018
The guide was very good, but I'm don't feel the scenery was worth the time and cost. The whole experience would have been elevated by a good dinner. You would think that a Cattle Station ranch could select and cook a great steak. Not so. A poor cut of beef, cooked in a frying pan does make for a good experience. Add in flies and sitting outside with no breeze, dinner was a dud. Maybe this tour should be a two star.

The tour guide was excellent. Favourite part of this tour was the salt lake. Would have been great to walk around the base of the rock. Dinner was very good.

Although we had expected to get near Mount Connor, we did not. The sunset was not as beautiful as Uluru . It was more of a photographer's trip so if you did not bring your camera equipment, it can get boring. We did stop to see a few animals but that was about it.
