beautiful view of Uluru / Ayers Rock, and some drinks / nibbles included.. just one viewing platform though

I was really good but was too short. The lady driver was very helpful and drove bus well. She interacted with all the people on tge your. She gave us lots of good information .
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Hi Claire,
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that our driver made it so engaging and informative. We appreciate your feedback about the tour length and will keep it in mind as we plan future experiences. We hope to see you on another adventure soon!
Brian_S, Jan 2026
The guide was no good, did'nt find anything out about Ayers Rock just about the food at the hotel. Used Viator loads of times will think again in future.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Hi Brian, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the tour didn’t meet your expectations. The experience you selected, Uluru Sunset (Y11), is designed as a relaxed scenic sunset tour, focusing on the landscape, colours of Uluru at dusk, and light refreshments rather than in-depth cultural commentary.
If you were hoping to explore Uluru’s history and Aboriginal culture in more detail, we do offer an extended option, Uluru Sacred Sites & Sunset, which includes a visit to the Cultural Centre, guided walks around the base of Uluru, Tjukurpa (creation) stories, rock art, and sacred sites before finishing with sunset drinks.
We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back in the future on a tour better suited to what you’re looking to experience.
Kind regards,
Sonia.

Fabulous experience and a well organised tour. Friendly guide, nice to have wine and nibbles included. Spectacular views and beautiful sunset.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Hi Wendy,
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the tour, from the spectacular views and sunset to the wine and nibbles. It’s great to know our guide made the experience even more memorable. We hope to welcome you on another adventure soon.
Cheryl_D, Jan 2026
Overall a nice experience. Karen was a good tour guide and helped us with pics. Skies were cloudy so we didn’t see a clear sunset, but enjoyed chatting with others in our group and appreciated the sparkling wine and cheese/crackers and other snacks.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Hi Cheryl,
Glad you enjoyed the experience! Even without a clear sunset, it’s great that Karen helped capture memories and that you could relax, chat, and enjoy the sparkling wine and snacks with the group.

A sunset viewing of Uluru is a must-do. However this tour was not worth it. Our “guide” Michael was really just a driver. We asked him to tell us some of the history of Uluru as we had only arrived earlier in the day and he refused!!! saying that we needed to do other tours to learn about Uluru. Really??!!?? We would have much preferred historic context instead of a glass of wine and some chips. If we were doing this again, we would definitely look for a tour that was truly a tour (with commentary) and not just a drive to Uluru and a glass of wine.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Hi Lori,
Thanks for your thoughtful feedback. We take our guests’ reviews very seriously and will investigate your comments to help us improve our tours and ensure a great experience for all.
We also understand your desire for more historical context. We do offer an extended sunset tour that includes commentary, which might be a better fit for your interests. We hope you’ll consider joining us on that tour next time.
We look forward to providing you with excellent service on a future tour.

This is an enjoyable sunset tour with sparkling wine, orange juice and light snacks. It is very amazing to see the Ayers Rock at sunset. The changing of the colour on the rock reflect the great beauty of nature echoing each other between the sun and the rock. My only comment is that if the snacks have proper cover, it would be perfect as there are many flies in the outback area.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Hi Samuel,
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the sunset tour and the changing colours of Uluru—it really is a spectacular sight. We appreciate your comment about the snacks and will take it on board to make the experience even better. We hope to welcome you back for another memorable adventure soon!
Lori_C, Oct 2025
This tour is great for individuals that dont have their own transportation. Viewing of Uluru is from the bus sunset parking area. there were many buses already on site when we arrived. A folding stool was provided for seating. We return after about an hour on site.
Mitch_v, Sep 2025
Do this experience first if you can. Great way to start your adventure. Munches are very basic however that's to be expected with such a large number of people participating from other tours and independently
RedSpice, Jul 2025
Timed to perfection. Lots of drinks and nibbles provided. Seats provided if needed. The sunset was incredible.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Thanks so much for your lovely feedback! We're glad to hear everything was timed just right and that you enjoyed the sunset, the treats, and the little extras like seating. It’s great to know you had a memorable experience!
Best regards,
The AAT Kings Team

It's well worth doing the tour. Treated so well by all the staff, the drinks and nibbles well beautiful. Well done AAT King.
Jaya_I, Jul 2025
The trip was comfortable and the views stunning! Must do activity in Uluru. The colors of the rock were unreal!
Xinran_G, Jun 2025
good experience to see the amazing sunset with spiraling and nibbles. Great place to have a full view of the Uluru rock.
Gerald_W, Apr 2025
Highly dependent on the cloud base. Uluru didn't offer up the 'hype' promised by marketing. However Kata Kjuta was very different, exciting.
Response from Host, Apr 2025
Hi Gerald,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. While Uluru may not have delivered what you were hoping for, it’s great to hear that Kata Tjuta stood out as an exciting and memorable part of your visit.
It’s a truly unique landscape, and we’re glad it made a strong impression. Your feedback is appreciated and helps us understand how different elements of the region resonate with visitors.
We hope the rest of your journey was just as rewarding.

It was great, once we sorted out getting a National Park Pass. Had asked the hotel who told us we didn't need one? The guides were lovely and we all had a great viewing spot of Uluru. We lucked out with the weather. Enjoyed the bubbles on offer in good abundance and nibbles were ok. It was a lovely and magical way to spend our wedding anniversary. Met some great fellow travellers from all around the world. We definitely recommend this tour.
Response from Host, Apr 2025
Hi Lila,

It’s great that you were able to enjoy the perfect weather and celebrate your wedding anniversary in such a magical way! It’s also lovely that you met fellow travelers from all over. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable experience!

The bus pick me up late and lost the light of the sun to the rock. For me was not a good experience at all.
Response from Host, Dec 2024
Hi Nydia, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that not having enough time to enjoy the sunset was disappointing. We take all comments seriously and will review the experience to ensure we provide the best possible service for future guests. Your feedback is valuable to us.
vjdfks62sf, Dec 2024
Bring snacks for your kiddos if you bring them along. I think kids under 5 should be free because the nibbles are very adult. The sunset was gorgeous. Not sure the price fits what you get, but it was beautiful. I would recommend to the staff to provide hand sanitizer and explain to guests to not use their hands to pick up the food. Food area was slightly confusing.
Response from Host, Dec 2024
Thank you for sharing your feedback! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the gorgeous sunset. We appreciate your suggestion regarding the food options for younger kids and will certainly take that into consideration. We also understand your point about the food area and the importance of providing hand sanitizer—this is something we'll work on improving for future guests. Your recommendations are valuable to us, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another beautiful experience!
Carole_d, Nov 2024
Enjoyable experience - not close enough for the money spent. I understand every activity is expensive but to do this tour a park pass also needed to be purchase with no benefit
Response from Host, Dec 2024
Thank you for your feedback. We're happy to hear that you had an enjoyable experience, and we understand your concerns about the cost and the park pass. Please note that the National Park entry fee is a compulsory charge set by the Northern Territory Government, and it's required for all visitors to the park. We appreciate your understanding and value your input as we continue to improve our offerings. We hope to welcome you again on another adventure soon!
Helen_B, Oct 2024
The beautiful view from the area and seeing the amazing colour changes in the Rock , the food was lovely and they catered for everyone , the guides were very helpful and very informative
Yvonne_M, Oct 2024
Great experience and very enjoyable canapés and sparkling wine. Takes the hassle from driving yourself
Colin_B, Sep 2024
I enjoy this tour and wine and food etc., but wasn't as spectacular as I expected, but might have just been the day. The staff were exceptional and we were well looked after.
Stewart_O, Aug 2024
First Sunset at Uluru was memorable family moment.
Staff were always knowledgeable and helpful with cultural respect
KellyJane_M, Jul 2024
First night in, it was a great introduction to Uluru. Pick up was easy, light nibbles and drinks suitable for children and adults. View was amazing. Rock changes colour every second. (Dress warm in winter)
Christine_L, Jul 2024
Everything was fine, really pretty. But it would have been nice to have more description or history of the rock. I had to take another tour from a different company to learn more.
Jilda_L, Jun 2024
Watching the changing colours of the sunset. Finally got to see Australia's beating heart. Have done Giza, Petra and Niagara Falls. Plus Mt Augustus WA, Swiss alps, Neuschwanstein Castle, Done if the Rock, Jerusalem and many more amazing cities. Uluru is NOT to be missed. Thankyou.
Ian_L, Jun 2024
Watching the colour of Uluṟu change as the sun set was a magical experience. The glass of bubbles didn’t detract from it!
Fareesha_W, Jun 2024
Picked up from designated hotel and driven to viewing area. The drivers and tour guide was very friendly and helpful.
Only negative would be that guests were advised of actual sunset time and any change of pick up time to original booking.
Jane_M, Apr 2024
Magical, after the sunset we were lucky enough to see the moon rise. Also, the team looking after us were very good, considerate and friendly. We really enjoyed the experience.
Jo_M, Apr 2024
Drinks and nibbles watching the sun set and the colours on Ayers Rock and the sky change. It was quite busy near the coaches but we were told we could walk up to a lookout which was nicer.
Lynette_B, Apr 2024
Disappointing! No chairs no plates and no narrative more time on bus vs at the rock! Felt rushed! Too expensive for what we received!
