Wet Trail - Bad For Segways

Our timing was bad. It had rained 11 days prior to our tour and some of the trail was still wet. The tour company proceeded with the tour, but we didn’t even Segway halfway around Ayers Rock. That was disappointing. The two tour guides, however, were great.

It's an early start but the view is worth to see how the first sun rays hit Uluru. The Segway tour itself felt a bit rushed, they stop at specific places to explain about the history which was interesting and during hot days going around on a Segway is more convenient than walking but you do not get to stop when you'd like.

Superb Experience - Segway so much fun

The Segway full base of Uluru is a superb experience that will last long in the memory. Our tour guides (Dan and his colleague) were both brilliant from start to finish, made sure our group got everything possible out of the tour, and they both had great knowledge of the whole Uluru experience. Taking the Segway is a great way to travel around the whole rock. This was our first time on a Segway and it was just brilliant. The tour is worth every dollar.

Riding around Uluru by Segway was a wow moment that was also fun.

This experience was fantastic and highly recommended. We were picked up from the hotel. We were provided instructions in the use of the Segway with ample practice. The ride around the base of Uluru was a WOW moment. It was also a lot of fun. The guide was very knowledgeable. The only downside was part of the breakfast supplied. The crossiants were not fresh and were cold and hard suggesting that they had been previously frozen.

Great way to see Uluru

No previous experience on a segway required. They do an excellent job training you on how to operate it before going in the tour. It was a great way to see Uluru without having to walk. Only downside was not being able to take as many pictures as you would have if you had been walking.

Get way to go around the Rock!

So great to travel around the Rock in Style and see many attractions. Easy to learn and many fun following the Tour Leader and others. If the Rock is closed to the Segway (due to rainand wet track) then they take you Half Way around the Rock mainly on the Road and give you a partial refund.

Stunning sunrise. Good choice to look around Uluru

The Segway tour was really fun, and our guide, Nick, was very friendly. It was my first time riding a Segway, so I was a bit worried, but he taught us well and gave us time to practice, making it easy to learn. As we toured around Uluru, we stopped at various spots where he shared fascinating myths about the rock. Breakfast was plentiful, with coffee, tea, muffins, and cereal. We enjoyed our meal while watching the sunrise, which was absolutely stunning. If we had explored on foot, it would have been too hot. Choosing the Segway was definitely a great decision!

Great tour highly enjoyable

Wonderful tour with Brittney as our guide. Prompt pick up from our hotel and onto Uluṟu for a delicious breakfast whilst watching the sunrise. Then after a short practice on the Segway we started the tour. They are easy to ride and it’s a wonderful way to see and experience all of Uluru. As the morning goes on you can feel the heat so being on a Segway is perfect compared to walking in the heat. Great tour would highly recommend to others. Lots of opportunities to stop for photos along the way.

Great way to see the circumference of Uluru

The breakfast was good though fairly basic (which is to be expected - croissants, muffins and meusli with hot coffee and tea). The viewing location of the Uluru sunrise was slightly obstructed with trees, but was still very beautiful (and obviously the tour company can’t do anything about the trees) The Segway tour was excellent with friendly guides. It was a great way to do a full circumference tour around Uluru

Loved riding the Segway around the base of Uluru. Even though I couldn't do the full base tour because of a ceremony what we did see was amazing. Easy to learn and way better than walking around the base. I was smiling the whole trip. Totally recommend it. Anyone can learn how to ride. My guide was patient and highly informed about Uluru.
