Overview

Explore one of Australia’s most distinctive natural features—Uluru—on this fun Segway tour. Your guide will take you to some hidden Aboriginal rock art sites, and tell you about the local history and culture. Travel along the base of the enormous monolith on a Segway. First time Segway Rider, Great Fun and Experience

It’s HOT (at least in February)!! Bring a fly mask unless you want to be eaten alive! Harley made the experience extra special with his friendly and engaging attitude and presentation.

Segways are fun way to get around on a very hot morning. Guide was informative and attentive. Beware of the persistent flies. Fly nets should be considered mandatory if you’re not used to it. Hot, much water is required.

Fun way to experience Uluru

Fun way to experience Uluru. Nick and Cy taught our group how to ride our Segways, which provided a cool way to travel around the rock and see it close up. Nick shared history and other interesting info about the rock and the people of Uluru. Note that the weather is very warm during January with lots of flies. Buy head nets at the town square market to avoid being attacked by flies!!

Uluru on a Segway ROCKS!!!

Uluru is huge! Had we not booked this tour and just walked around on our own, we would have just seen it as a large, beautiful rock structure. However, it is so much more. It was very hot outside so we were able to cover more ground in less time. We also got to meet people from another party and shared lots of laughs. Harley, our guide, so personable and knowledgeable. He constantly made sure we were all doing ok with the heat. Harley asked if we had questions before moving onto the next topic.

Fun way to see Uluru at Sunset

I've done a number of seaway tours before and they never disappoint. Not just for the fun that can be had on these contraptions, but the wealth of knowledge of the guides., and the fact it's a different way to see Uluru. After the tour we ended with the sunset and nibbles. What else could you ask for?

Great experience with great guide. There is some flat walking involved but it’s easy going. You get training on the Segway usage before setting off and it’s easy when you get the hang of it. Good to hear some history and traditions.

Using the segways to view Uluru was a great option to take. The sunset at the end provided a beautiful glow to Uluru that made for a perfect photo. Definitely consider this tour when deciding how to explore Uluru.

We were a bit apprehensive to start as it had been some time since we last did this. The staff were very good at running us through the use of the segways and after a while it was a breeze. Great way to see part of the rock.

What a great experience. We are both over 60 and it was our first time on a Segway. We were both a little nervous but our instructors were fantastic which made the learning process very enjoyable. The guided tour was fantastic and our guide was very knowledgeable. I would recommend this Segway tour to everyone regardless of age.

Fun parts, but not worth the value for money

The Segway ride was pretty cool, but it only lasted about 45, not the whole 1.5 hours. The rest of the time was spent on safety induction and practicing. The main tour guide was really friendly and knowledgeable, however it was pretty hard to understand the second tour guide most of time. The sunset spot was a nice. We were looking forward to the picnic but it was honestly a bit sad, they offered a few drinks coupled with bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Given it lasted for about 4.5 hours with self provided water, it didn't meat expectations for the price point. All in all, Segway part was fun, but not worth the value for money.
