Uluru sacred sites and BBQ 08/03/26
Roy_H, Mar 2026
A wonderful afternoon and evening from start to finish. Very well organised, excellent guides (Kevin and Hayley) who both gave very good commentary and information. The walks at the base of Uluru were a great experience. The sunset was fabulous with very generous tasty nibbles and a glass of fizz. We then thoroughly enjoyed the optional, fine-dining, truly delicious BBQ and wine under the stars, followed by a fascinating astronomy talk from Neil.
Don't miss it!

Everything was justa bit...
laura_b, Dec 2025
Everything was justa bit off, the guide was having a very bad day and felt overly angsty from the off. Lots of things closed or not accessible. No information given on timings so we ended up not getting back until 10pm. Best part was Kevin the driver of the bbq bus giving us a star gazing talk, he was amazing. Rest of it needs a looking at.
Response from Host, Jan 2026

Magical Uluru
Mary_N, Dec 2025
Guides were very knowledgeable. Would like to recognize Rachel. This was her first tour after passing all of her education regarding Uluru. Answered all of our questions and the tour guides made sure we had plenty of fresh drinking water. Magical sunset viewing.
Response from Host, Dec 2025

We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable adventure soon!

Uluru - magnificent!
Belinda_M, Oct 2025
An amazing half day full of incredible sights and a really enthusiastic tour guide team who shared their knowledge generously. The Cultural Centre was a very informative start to the afternoon and the gallery there was amazing. Visiting Uluru was a very special experience - we learnt so much about this sacred place and felt privileged to be able to get close to it in a respectful way. The afternoon ended with welcome refreshments and a great spot for viewing of the rock as the sun set. Thank you for a great tour!
Fascinating tour
Kevin_G, Jul 2025
Great commentary from both guides about the history of the area and the indigenous peoples. You get up close to Uluru and are even able to touch it.
Fabulous Experience
Beverley_G, Jul 2025
This was a great trip with a visit to the Cultural Centre and a guided walk to the watering hole before getting to watch the sunset. The evening BBQ was absolutely delicious and we finished with a star gazing talk. Our guides Alex and Marc were very informative and good company. We were lucky to have clear skies and the night sky was absolutely magical. We would definitely recommend this trip.
Great
Skylar_F, Jun 2025
Great experience. Our guide was helpful. I wish we walked more around Ayers Rock, but everything was great. Loved the dinner and stargazing. Highly recommend that add on.
All very well organised...
Warren_G, Jun 2025
All very well organised and informative the afternoon canapés and Champagne and viewing area at sunset was excellent, dinner was also very well done with good food and the star gazing beautiful.
Not worth it
Michal_D, Jun 2025
If you can, book the walk along the entire rock or so it yourself with the Audioguide. This tour was very basic and not worth the time and price. The sunset was great but Yiu can also get there on your own as everyone goes to the same place.
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Hi Michael,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. The sunset really is something magical, and it's great to hear you got to enjoy it. Some visitors prefer a more in-depth experience, while others enjoy the freedom of exploring solo—and both can be just as rewarding. We’re always happy to be part of the journey, whichever way people choose to see the Rock.
Warm Regards,
Sonia

Not a Uluru base walk
Anthony_M, May 2025
The tour was ok but I was expecting a trail walk around the base of Uluru. This was advertised as "walk along the base of Ayers Rock" but it was just a walk to a water hole and a ride on the coach along the perimeter. I feel like they need to be a little more specific. The Uluru sunset view and champagne and snacks was great but was left wanting to walk along the trail around it.
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Hi Anthony,
Thanks for your feedback. Uluru’s base walk is definitely something many want to dive into, and it’s great you were looking forward to that experience. This tour gives a taste, but the full trail is a whole different adventure. We also offer the Uluru Morning Base Walk, which might be just what you’re after—it’s a guided 10.5 km hike around the entire base of Uluru. Really happy to hear you enjoyed the sunset and the moment at the end.
Warm Regards,
Sonia

Yup - another must do!
CHRISTIAN_S, Apr 2025
The afternoon tour was excellent, mostly due to the experienced guide, Mike, who shared so much of the local culture, heritage and history.
Locations visited were well chosen.
Sunset with Uluru Rock was interesting to see.
Supper/BBQ after was just alright. Not much selection.
Response from Host, Apr 2025
Hi Christi,
Thanks for sharing your experience! We're thrilled you enjoyed the afternoon and got so much insight from Mike—he really knows his stuff. Sunset at Uluru is always special, and we appreciate the feedback on the BBQ—sorry it didn’t quite hit the mark for you.

This was our favourite...
alex_a, Feb 2025
This was our favourite tour by far. Glen was our guide and was absolutely the best! He was so knowledgeable, entertaining and so enjoyable to be around.
The base tour was fantastic you got up and close with Uluru and got to go to some very special locations with great photo ops.
We then went to the sunset lookout which was spectacular.
Do yourself a favour and add on the bbq dinner. This was the most amazing part of our whole trip. A small group of around 30 of us were then transported back to the base of Uluru where we had a fantastic dinner set up under the stars with no other tourists/anyone around. And once the night sky got dark and those stars came out it was the most amazing experience to have Uluru there in the background. We then had a skygazing talk from guide Oden whose knowledge was unbelievable (and had some mad skills with phones to capture the best star pics!)
Response from Host, Mar 2025
Hi Alex,
Wow, thank you so much for this amazing review! We're so happy to hear that this tour was your favorite – and we're glad Glen could make such a positive impact on your experience. It’s fantastic that you got to get up close to Uluru and explore those special spots. The sunset lookout is always a highlight, and we’re thrilled you added the BBQ dinner. That under-the-stars experience is truly magical, and we're glad you got to enjoy it in such a special way. Thanks again for sharing your journey, and we hope to welcome you back for more unforgettable moments in the future.

Sunset tour was beautiful

Col our tour guide was knowledgeable and we even saw a lizard on our walk. The BBQ was served under the stars and a full moon for a truly magical night.
Response from Host, Feb 2025
Hi Susan,
Thanks for sharing your experience! It sounds like you had an amazing time with Col and even got a cool wildlife sighting along the way. Dining under the stars with a full moon really does make for a magical evening. We’re so happy you had such a memorable night! Hope to see you again soon.
See Uluru on Your Own
Lisa_L, Jan 2025
The tour was good for the tour guide and what it was, but I guess I just wasn’t very into the history and things so that’s a personal problem. The sunset champagne and charcuterie are what made this super special, to be honest. We all felt the same way where we weren’t into it and then the sunset touch was really special watching it go over Uluru and it was just a great moment connecting with others on the tour. I think the cost of this tour should be half of what it is though.
Response from Host, Jan 2025
Hi Lisa,
Thanks for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear the sunset and the chance to connect with others made the tour memorable for you. It’s great that you were able to enjoy that special moment over Uluru. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to focus on delivering meaningful experiences for all our guests.
Don’t miss it

Uluru for two
Craig_M, Jan 2025
From hotel pickup around 3.00 pm to return around 10.00 pm this was an exceptional day. The history and cultural relevance of Uluru was explained and reinforced by staff and sensitivity to the indigenous population and owners of this land respected. Inside the Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park we enjoyed a visit to a cultural centre, followed by a drive around the rock to Kapi Mutitjulu watering hole and then a stop at the old route taken up the rock prior to this insensitive practice being stopped in 2019. We then enjoyed a sunset drinks experience at a nearby viewing platform. For those who added the BBQ experience we were then transported back inside the park to the base of the rock for a wonderful two course meal with drinks, tea/coffee and beautifully completed with a star gazing presentation and talk.
Amazing tour - well worth the $
Susannah_R, Dec 2024
The tour guides were knowledgeable and humorous. Really enjoyed every aspect of the tour. From the cultural centre to the walks at the base and sunset viewing, all was fantastic.
