Truly amazing to see sunrise at Uluru. The base walk is a beautiful experience. Our guide Mimi was excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly, professional.
SamuelJohn_P, Apr 2026
excellent walk around uluru with very good knowledge from the tour guide about the aboriginal peoples' relationship with uluru, their way of living and communicating through story telling.

We had a great time and highly recommend! Our guide was Alex. He was brilliant. He has excellent knowledge and answered any questions we had. Walking pace was good with regular stops where Alex shared interesting stories and facts. Lovely breakfast.

The tour was excellent by the tour guide Matt.
It’s a strenuous walk for about 4-5 hrs around the rock. Matt was really superb.

We loved our sunrise circuit around Uluru with our incredibly professional and friendly guide, Celia. We highly recommend seeing Uluru this way - with the insight of a guide who has been extensively trained by the Aṉangu people themselves. Logistically, the tour was well operated and everything ran smoothly from pick up to drop off. The information and stories Celia told were informative, respectful and interesting. We also loved the pace she set, which suited our group, and so had time to drop in to the cultural centre after.
For those of you who might want to know, the walk was fairly easy and mostly flat. I wore slides and was absolutely fine. A few people mentioned the breakfast being lack luster but honestly, it was perfect. It consisted of gourmet muesli with milk, a muesli bar, a juice box, a fruit cup, some bickies, a hot cuppa in a thermos, and a 700ml bottle of water - all provided in a shoulder satchel you carry yourself. We enjoyed our brekkie and didn’t have any issues carrying the bag, but others may not like the extra weight.
All in all, we loved our experience and highly recommend it. It was the most perfect introduction to Uluru on the sunrise of my 40th bday - magical. Thank you!

This walk was well worth the money to hear from a guide the history of this great creation. I would highly recommend to anyone seeing this amazing site!

Loved this! Andrea was great and kept us moving while sharing so much history. The cool temps made getting up early worth it!

This was such a great event! Started on time with pick up at the hotel and a quick drive to the base of the rock. The entire walk took just over 4 hours, and our guide took us to water falls, caves, pools. Uluru is an entire environment of its own. We also heard stories from aboriginal legends that brought the rock to life. Highly suggest. A long but easy walk, along very flat land.

This was a good tour experience, and the tour guide was very informative. The site was wet because of unusual rainfall in the area but the guide made it comfortable and easy to get around that issue.

I’ve been wanting to do this most of my adult life and finally got to do so with my dear family. What an incredible experience. We were blessed to have such an amazing and affable guide in Michael

They make the breakfast sound like a breakfast. In Africa we hiked to a set up breakfast. In this trip we were handed a pouch full of snacks called breakfast that we carried the whole hike. They didn’t tell us that we really needed fly masks because the flies were terrible nor did they have them to give or sell to us. We did receive a large email the night before the hike that mentioned fly masks in it but that email did not arrive until the middle of the night, so we (as most of the people on out trip) did not see it. They should really be stressing this to visitors and not burying it in one email the night before.
That being said, the guide (Graham) was wonderful. His story telling and explanations were right on the money. The walk itself was great. It is not for all, as it is close to 8 miles mostly in the sun and we had one person not really physically able.
I would definitely do this but would be better prepared if my review would have been one I had previously seen.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the walk with Graham; he truly is a passionate guide, and we will be sure to pass your kind words on to him!
Regarding the breakfast, we provide an 'outback picnic' style specifically designed to provide energy for the trail while remaining safe to carry in higher temperatures. We do note on our website that this is a lightweight satchel-style meal rather than a seated setup, as our priority is keeping guests fueled and safe during the hike.
We also apologize for the delay in the fly net email.
We completely agree that fly net information should reach you well in advance. We’re sorry for the late-evening delivery of that email; we aim to provide our guests with plenty of lead time and will work on ensuring these details are received much earlier in the day moving forward.
We hope you enjoy the rest of your travels!

Great tour. Highly recommend. Good value for money. It was a nice tour with 8 people.
Walking around the whole of the base get to see so much.

Wonderful experience with our tour guide Lucia! We walked around the base of Uluru in a small group of six persons and our guide. She was able to tell all kind of interesting facts and stories about the local tribe and Uluru it self. She made it an entertaining and interesting experience. I can recommend this tour with her to anyone who is interested in Uluru and wants to a good walk (12km).

Small group of interesting people. Our guide Rachael was very knowledgeable, friendly and did a wonderful job. Would highly recommend

Really happy I booked this tour.
Walked around Uluru day before using Uluru guide gps APP while nice it was not a patch on the detail and story telling by Rachel and using diagrams and pictures of the stories. Rachel is passionate caring for her group, engaged. It would recommend SEIT to anyone looking for a relaxed but informative with a small group.

Tour was great, there only 3 of us on the tour so it was very personal. Our guide Andrea was great and very knowledgeable. “Lunch” was a couple of snack bags, cookie and bottle of water to choose from.
David_B, Oct 2025
6.7 miles around. Mostly flat but some sandy areas may be a little more difficult. Our guide Andy was the best. Personable, friendly, funny, informative. A true asset to his company.
Mary_H, Sep 2025
Graham was lovely and it was a great way to really see the scale of Uluru. The stories were really interesting and he had a great knowledge of the area. Breakfast was appreciated.
Would advise- layers (went from freezing to boiling once we left the shade). Water. Use the facilities when you come to them. Bring your own snacks if you’re not a fan of granola.
Patricia_P, Sep 2025
It really is 7.5 miles but flat and not treacherous. You get some great Indigenous creation stories, see some lovely bush landscape and learn about the Anangu people and culture. Breakfast was good (and appreciated at the early hour) and Pete was a friendly and knowledgeable guide.
Ariane_R, Sep 2025
The best was the small group of only 11 pax. I definitely recommend this tour in comparison to the other tour operator which has a full bus load. The tour itself is the same for all. A walk around Uluru with a small breakfast. The walk is easy. Be aware that during some parts taking pictures is forbidden. Our guide Emily was fantastic.
If you have a car you can do it on your own.
Edward_J, Aug 2025
The walk sounds long, but is flat and easy. Uluru was beautiful up close. The tour was well organized and Jackie was an excellent guide.
Dawn_B, Aug 2025
Fantastic tour with Lucy. Lucy is a very engaging guide and made everyone feel welcome. We walked at quite a pace but there are plenty of stops along the way. Lucy told the stories of the indigenous people very well. A wonderful experience- thank you.
Ian_K, Aug 2025
Easy walk around the base, interesting sites to be seen with on going commentary from our guide. Nice breakfast and relaxed atmosphere
Marc_D, Jul 2025
Very well organized. Our guide Andy was pleasant and efficient, he provided us the relevant information about key places. He helped me to renew my Uluru pass. Breakfast was simple but good.
