We wanted to experience Uluru on our own time scale and not limited to tour buses. It was amazing we hired a bike from another company and it was the most easiest way to see and experience Uluru in our own time. I can highly recommend it and you can listen to parts again by looking through the app.

This audio tour is fabulous! You can do the park at your own pace and hear stories and guides the whole way through! Take as long or as short a time at each place and do it by car, bike or walk!

Good substitute for the guided tours

Excellent audio guide with just the right amount of information provided at each stop. The commentary is triggered automatically based on your location and this worked well 95% of the time, but the software did seem to get a little confused when some sites were visited in a non-standard sequence. The company was pretty flexible in terms of pick up and drop off times for the device, but we would've appreciated an after-hours drop off option - in our case, we wanted to watch the sunset at Kata Tjuta but knew the office would be closed for device drop off by the time we got back, so had to return it early instead. Regardless, it was a great device to have around and a good substitute for the guided tours.

Highly recommend self walking tour of Uluru with the audio guide, the built in GPS meant you got information at appropriate locations. You were independent and could choose your own pace.
