Mutlu_G, Apr 2026
It is a 11km flat walk around Uluru but get ready for the sticky flies which certainly requires a net for the hat. You can also do the walk yourself without a guide more quickly but having a guide to learn about geography and Anangu Culture is very nice.

Breathtaking!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the breathtaking scenery and found the information helpful. Starting early really does make a difference in the heat, and we’re glad your guide helped make the experience great. We hope to see you again for another adventure soon!

Great walk, but very dusty

Antoinette_C, Oct 2025
Enjoyed the walk and the guides were very informative. The breakfast was basic, but plentiful. We appreciated that they were able to accommodate dietary restrictions. Be aware that it is very dusty. The red sand and dust cover your shoes and clothes. Also the flies are a huge nuisance around your head and face. So be prepared with a head net that you can buy anywhere at the resort.

A good experience

Hugh_T, Jul 2025
Michelle was excellent. The tour is very good She was informative, knowledgeable and set steady walking pace. Breakfast is welcome but perhaps is not 5/5 as the coffee is instant rather than real, but they did kindly provide gluten free food. We are here for 2 days and this is a great introduction.

Uluru Walk with Wisdom

Lauretta_Z, Jul 2025
Great information about the Uluru geological history, indigenous people and stories to get a better understanding and appreciation out of the visit. Guides were fantastic! Breakfast could have included a sandwich or croissant rather than prepackaged biscuits.

A beautiful rainy day with great stores. Chloe and Jim did a fabulous job and very professional. I enjoyed every minute.

A very special experience!

What a wonderful experience... our guide did an amazing job!.. however, the breakfast offerings could have been much better.

Uluru Morning Guided Base Walk

Matt_W, Apr 2025
Excellent 11km walk around fully guided by our great guide Chloe. Chloe was very welcoming and provided excellent information and history of the area and Uluru. The only downside was the breakfast. Wasn’t expecting gourmet but muesli bar and cereal were a bit average. I still recommend this tour to all…

Response from Host, Apr 2025

We appreciate the feedback on breakfast too and will definitely take it on board. Thanks again for recommending the tour! Warm Regards, Sonia AAT Kings Team.

Glen and Nick were the best! Glen was full of information, cheered us on, and super personable. He completed the experience. If you bring your kids, bring your stroller. We brought our 1 and 3 year olds and I’m so glad Nick and Glen suggested the stroller. They did great and even napped most of the walk. Don’t forget the fly net. I regret not having one. The flies are the worst part.

Response from Host, Dec 2024

Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that Glen and Nick made your experience memorable and enjoyable. It's great that their suggestions helped with the little ones, and we’re glad they could nap peacefully during the walk. We appreciate the tip about the fly net too—definitely a helpful reminder for future visitors. We hope to welcome you back again soon!

Great walk

Celine_C, Oct 2024
The tour was great, our guide Glen was joyful and gave us a lot of tips and stories in order to make this walk very interesting !

Must do!!

Shahla, Sep 2024
We did this with our 11 year old and loved it! Mitch and Emily were fantastic guides. They were so patient with us and all our questions. Very knowledgeable. The breakfast was lovely with a good spread in a lovely setting. The walk was stunning. Thank you team! Highly recommend this tour.

Great Adventure, I'd Highly Recommend

Colin_B, Sep 2024
Our guide (Glen?) was excellent and made the walk much more interesting with the facts, history and stories. Parts of the walk are at a brisker pace, especially the first half, but we'll worth the effort. I'd recommend this tour.

A great day at the Rock

Ross_B, Sep 2024
We had a great time and were looked after so well by Chloe and Phil. The stories told by Chloe on the walk around was exceptional as were those told by Phil. My hubby and I were probably the oldest on the tour and I (not him) found the walking pace set by Chloe very difficult to keep up with.

Ularu sunrise walk

Graeme_M, Sep 2024
The guild was very knowledgeable and informative with her understanding of the local indigenous culture. The only downside side is the breakfast, it would have been nice to have an bacon & egg roll, ham & cheese or egg sandwich (even pre-made) as it's a big walk with only cereals and biscuits.

Incredible experience

Kerrie_D, Sep 2024
Glen our guide was top class, 5 stars!! We had an awesome start to the day with perfect weather for our base walk around Uluru, Roger our bus driver was awesome as well, it was a sensational morning tour! Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Base walk

MATT_J, Sep 2024
Excellent staff and organisation from start to finish. Breakfast/snack was well timed in the middle of the tour. Need more time during that breakfast and toilet break.

Awesome Tour!

sandra_m, Aug 2024
Going in the morning is a great idea as it starts to get really hot by late morning. The tour guys Jesse & Dennis were very informative & hospitable- they did a great job taking caring of us. Seeing Uluru was a trip of a lifetime, thank you!

Worth doing in Uluru

Michelle_S, Aug 2024
Commentary was great. Hayley our guide was very informative, friendly and fun. Other staff on tour were great just so friendly and helpful.

A very special place ..

Joanna_F, Aug 2024
The sunrise and base walk was a wonderful way to marvel at Uluru and get an introduction to what makes this area so special .

Well worth the time

Julie_W, Aug 2024
Michelle was an excellent guide. Extremely knowledgeable. Tour was well paced. Enjoyed immensely. Make sure you take water and a walking snack. Uluru is an immense beast and takes your breath away. Lucky to have experienced while the landscape is so green.

Great experience

ifennimore, Aug 2024
We had a great experience walking around base of the Ayer’s Rock. Our tour guide Lincoln was very knowledgeable about history of the area and told us several aboriginal legends. Very interesting but be prepared for a long walk!

Not as good as it should had been

Erika_O, Jul 2024
This walk went quick, not a lot of time to stop and enjoy the beauty of the rock. I was not impressed with the guide. At least ten times he used the phrase, “I told you the wrong information.” He did not know the sight he was guiding us around. Disappointed to say the least
