A great way to transfer from Udaipur to Jodhpur by private car

The optional stops at and Kumbalgarh Fort and the Ranakpur Jain Temple, both UNESCO World Heritage sites, were excellent and provided good breaks from the long drive. The toll road was mostly good, although there is a lot to improve in terms of signage, entry and exit ramps, trucks driving in the fast lane, etc. Our driver provided color background in terms of conditions in Rajasthan.

please do avoid using Viator for this tour. The driver makes stops at every possible friend he knows and tells you what to buy and what not to. He causes tiny accidents with his driving behavior and then spends hours negotiating.He didn't drive me to my hotel but let his buddy charge me 300 rupees for 200 meters on a ricksaw.Of course I didn't know it was that near and I didn't check before (people tend to trust their fellow people if they don't know the place). Please use the Chauffeur service offered by Avis,never ever Viator. You will have your nerves broken and your money missing. I also couldn't visit Jodhpur at my ease since we lost hours and hours in the useless stops. Totally unproffessional.

Thank you Monte! We had a wonderful day touring from Udaipur to Jodhpur with a stop at Kumbhalgarh Fort and one at Ranakpur and the Jain temple there. Both stops were worth the extra time... best way to get from Udaipur to Jodhpur!
