It is a good experience a bit expensive. If an hours ride in the lake was included it could be even more enchanting.

Restaurant was great, coordination of transfers needs improvement.

We had high expectations of this tour because we had been told it would be a highlight of our visit to Udaipur and the tour was a high price. The restaurant location in the centre of the lake, service and choice of the menu was great. Food quality was very good. Important to note, the price does not include any alcoholic drinks. Unfortunately, the boat transfer from the Oberoi to the restaurant was poorly coordinated by the tour company. There was nobody from the tour company present at the wharf to identify the boat we needed to catch nor could the boat drivers speak English. I was sending numerous WhatsApp messages to the tour company trying to figure out when our boat was going to arrive, because it was late, and then identifying which boat to actually catch.

Sorry if you expected someone come in Boat to meet you But Boat driver always inform Hotel and then Visitors easy Join Its first time Happen and Expecting Boat driver speaks english we will try next time He carry a Name card so People see name and see which Boat to Join Thank you writing about nice food arrangements for Transfers you were connected with whatsapp and all was easy Happened dont know why you need to mention but its was quick co - ordinated in 5min delays Founder Neelam India saying namaste Trips

Location, location, location!

Stunning location! Once in a lifetime experience to feast in a palace on a lake surrounded by the old city, floating palaces and temples on the hills! A memorable experience ( not inexpensive but worth it). We were treated wonderfully- best table in the house with views across the lake. A pre-your of the museum and plenty of photo opportunities. A culinary delight: sampling of vegetarian non vegetarian Rajastani fare. Excellent attention and service from our waiter. To top it off, we were lucky to be there on a special National occasion in India - temple inauguration - so the entire evening was complete with the backdrop of fireworks rumbling through the mountains! It was wonderful- hats off to the staff!

Good food, excellent service, and beautiful venue! Our server was very attentive and helpful throughout the whole experience. They also had veg and non veg options.
