History with some chocolate

I would describe this as a combo Turin History Tour and chocolate tasting as the first hour was history. Part of our family group had a hard time with the history emphasis since it was described as chocolate. We did go to several high end chocolate shops and one ice cream shop where we were treated to tasting and/or samples. The guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating

Dear Michelle, as we say in Italian “prima il dovere e poi il piacere” (first the tears and then the cakes), so in order for you to appreciate the true taste of Turin chocolate in the city's best historic cafes, it was important to better understand its history, and why Turin is so connected to the history of this delicious food of the gods. That's why the combination of history, tasting and walking is the best way to enjoy this experience!

Ho regalato questa esperienza a due amiche ed in occasione del tour abbiamo passato del tempo insieme. Questo per dire che diventa anche un'ottima scusa per staccare dalla frenetica routine di tutti i giorni e concedersi dei momenti che diventano poi dei bei ricordi. È stata davvero una bellissima esperienza oltre ad essere molto interessante e golosa! La nostra guida era davvero molto preparata e non si è soffermata solamente sul cioccolato ma ci ha deliziate anche di molti aneddoti e curiosità sulla storia torinese. Il Gianduiotto di A. Giordano ancora fatto a mano è ciò che più mi ha colpito ed entusiasmato. Super Consigliata!!!
