Jade was an awesome English speaking guide. It was just the 2 of us so we were able to go into a few extra places that you might not have if the group was larger. Her knowledge and history was amazing. She took us into a small cafe and introduced us to tremenzino (small fresh white bread super soft sandwiches with no crust). Delicious. It is now our favourite

Sofia was amazing! I was the only one on the tour so was able to ask lots of questions and really engage in interesting conversations. Sofia is so knowledgeable about Turin, giving me the entire history of the city which is fascinating. She was friendly, interesting, and just a great person to spend a couple of hours with. I was so impressed and learned so much. It’s very obvious she loves Turin and enjoys sharing the story of the city. It was a wonderful experience. HIGHLY recommend!

There was a lot of walking and standing, little time to sit for elderly people. The tour guide was good. According to the tour description, the Mole was supposed to be included, but it was not.

Superb intro to Turin. Our guide, Chiarra (sp?), was very knowledgeable and informative about the city’s history as well as the historical aspects of the various buildings we either entered or at least passed by. She was also quite funny which kept us all engaged with her descriptions. Word of caution though, it’s truly a ‘walking tour’ so expect to walk lots of steps and when it’s hit and sunny ( which it was for us), wear a hat and sunscreen plus bring plenty of water. But take this tour to get a great overview of the central city surrounding the palace.

The guide provided a good overview of history and the main sites. She was knowledgeable and passionate about her city, which was wonderful. The only critique that we had was since it was only our group. She never asked if we had any specific interests or things that we wanted to know about and just seem to stick to a script. We did learn a lot about the history of Turin and Piedmont and truly enjoyed her excitement to share about her city.
