The trip was a lot of fun, the tour guides were great. Very knowledgeable and fun. This site made it very easy to book it and pay for it.
But be aware, when you pay the ruin tax, they take you to a building and try to rush you through paying. The person taking my payment first didn't show me the charge rate and was insisting I just put in my pin, without seeing it. Then when I made her redo it. So I could see what I was being charged, she wasn't happy. And then after I out in my pin she pushed buttons before I could read the next screen putting the charge through with their exchange rate, instead of allowing me to get my credit card do the exchange rate. Instead of the $100 it should have cost me, it cost me $160. To say I'm pissed off about this is an understatement. I will not ever use their services again as a result.
I don't feel the tour deserved a bad rating because of this. every other experience I had was fantastic, and all 9 of my group had a lot of fun.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We’re very happy to hear that you and your group had a fun experience and that our guides made a great impression with their knowledge and energy.
At the same time, we’re truly sorry to hear about your experience during the archaeological tax payment. We completely understand how frustrating that situation must have felt. We’d like to clarify that this payment is managed directly by the archaeological site and not by our team. However, your feedback is very important, and we will make sure to share it with the appropriate parties to help improve transparency and the overall process for future visitors.
We truly appreciate your balanced perspective and are glad that, aside from this situation, you and your group had a fantastic time. Thank you again for your feedback — it helps us continue improving.

I enjoyed the locations we visited and liked the Cenote swim but the tour was all over the place. I had to change buses multiple times maybe 7-8 times. Most buses were without proper AC and it was very hot and humid outside. it took 2 hours just to get to the first location with 2 different buses. The tour guid in Tulum ruins and Coba did not give us a lot of information and because we were late he gave us a tour for 10-15 min the gave us free time which was not enough to explore the areas. The buffet was terrible there were no options they gave us only 1 plate without explaining what it contains. They did not ask if we have any food restrictions. At the end I was the last to be dropped off and when I asked them to drop me off at my hotel the driver refused and left me in front of another hotel where there were no taxis and I had to walk for a whole hour to my hotel. Luckily I found a taxi on my way to the hotel who charged me a crazy amount of money. I would not recommend taking this tour. I only gave 3 starts because of the beautiful location that we visited

We enjoy the trip in a way that we enjoyed the history and the beautiful views. The only negative side of it was the lunch. It was not a buffet. It was very disappointing. They served us a plate with rice, hard beans, cold scrambled eggs and some type of nacho roll. Food was cold, i could not eat it at all. Other than that, the guides were super pleasant, the cenote was beautiful. Hopefully they improve the meal.

They never showed up to our hotel to pick us up, never called us or responded to multiple messages.
When refund was requested they flat out lied about us not coming to meeting point.
Response from Host, Jun 2021
I'm sorry to read this inconvenience, at the time of reservation the meeting point is indicated, however, I will review your reservation for the respective refund.

Great driver and guide! Many insights regarding Mayans in Tulum and Coba and their astronomical, religious, and commercial practices. Refreshing dip in the Cenote and exploration of the underground river. Brief stop to see Mayan food preparation and shaman. Long day but rewarding.
