This kayaking experience was fantastic. Antonio was an excellent guide — extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the biosphere. He pointed out and explained so many different birds along the way, which made the experience even more special. We were a bit slow on our kayaks, but Antonio was very patient and always stayed with us, making sure we felt comfortable and never rushed. It felt personal, relaxed, and very well guided. Highly recommended if you want a meaningful and educational experience in nature.

The tour guide is experienced and knowledgeable nature explorer. Speaks beautiful English. Shwed us huge number of birds and told us about them. Doesn't compromise birds benefit for tourists. This trip requires some endurance pedaling. The sunset over lagoon is unimaginably beautiful. Thank you!

This was the perfect kayaking tour through the mangroves of Sian Kaan. We saw many different species of birds - pelicans, herons, ospreys, egrets and others. Antonio was a fantastic guide with extensive knowledge of the area and all the species of birds. He also provided plenty of recommendations for other activities in the area including a monkey sanctuary and other kayak tours. It was great finishing the tour with a beautiful sunset. Absolutely stunning sunset in the kayaks in such pristine waters. Very peaceful with beautiful birds, a puffer fish and a tiny crocodile. Guide was patient with the kids, very accommodating, and had a wealth of knowledge about the area and wildlife. Fruit and burrito were good as well! It was amazing and even though it was expensive it was worth it. A definite highlight!

This tour was one of my favorite activities in Tulum and one of my favorite kayaking activities ever. We arranged our own transport to meet the tour at the cenote first, then followed the guide into the reserve. The time at the cenote was pretty quick but definitely enough time to refresh yourself and explore the cenote. Ric was our tour guide and he was amazing- he was so passionate and enthusiastic about the natural environment of the Tulum and it really showed. I learned a LOT from him and gained a greater understanding and appreciation for the importance of the reserve. We started out with a late lunch and delicious homemade guacamole with other guys from the tour company and it was so casual and fun. Then we headed out. It's one of the longer distances I've had to kayak but the pace made it manageable and the frequent breaks for birdwatching and enjoying the surroundings made it feel more relaxing. There was literally no other group in the water: this place is so calming, and so beautiful, you can see why this is a protected haven for so many bird species. The view of the sunset from the water is like nothing else I've ever seen. While this tour itself was fantastic, the experience was made even better by the Ric and the guides with Yucatan Outdoors. They're doing an amazing job spreading awareness and appreciation for this beautiful place. I highly recommend you support them and go on this tour!

This was an amazing eco-friendly experience. We really enjoyed snorkeling in a cenote and hanging out with our guides and other visitors for a delicious lunch. There are no words for the experience of kayaking in the lagoon in Sian Ka'an; it was simply amazing. Our guides were very friendly and provided great information about the native flora and fauna. The memory of watching the sun set over the lagoon will stay with us forever.

Andrew and Rick were absolutely amazing. They were so knowledgeable and sensitive to the untouched ecosystem we were lucky enough to explore - we saw a small gator which was in itself amazing . The sunset with the birds all returning to the mangroves was so beautiful. We were literally the only humans out there and we kayaked back with the stars overhead- from ages 13 to 22, all 4 of our kids thoroughly enjoyed it. The “picnic” was amazing and exceeded our expectations- from table made guac to fresh fruits it was all incredible. They let us kayak a little farther because we had extra time before the sunset. The kids also enjoyed the cenote even though we had visited the same one the day before on kayaks and paddle boards because this time they got to snorkel and enjoyed going down deeper to see the beauty below - We easily felt like we were friends with our guides by the end of the tour. Could not recommend more.

If you are considering going to Sian Ka’an then I would thoroughly recommend this tour. The groups are small so it feels personal & by the end of the day it was like we were all a group of friends. The kayak tour goes through narrow parts of the lagoon that would not be possible in a boat. The guides were amazing & so friendly & the food was delicious & plentiful! They also takes lots of professional style photos & send them to you after the trip.

Fantastic guides! Their passion, knowledge, enthusiasm, and encouragement made it much more fun for us. The kayaking experience is not to be missed. Total pleasure to be out in Siam Khan, watch the sunset, see the birds and marvel in the beauty. Totally recommend this!!! Worth every penny.

Emiliano and Lucas were excellent guides - very knowledgeable and friendly. Snorkeling for about an hour was the best way to see the cenote. We enjoyed a homemade meal. Then went on to kayaking in Sian Kaan - the highlight of the day! We were the ONLY people on the water all day (boats are not permitted where you’ll go) and got to see birds, fish, and the reserve up close. We stayed on the water for the sunset and then paddled in.
Amazing trip with the best guides - highly recommended.

one of the best experiences i’ve ever had. first we went snorkeling in an open cenote; afterwards we were taken kayaking, which was absolutely incredible. we learned about the different bird species living on the islands and caught the sunset. our amazing tour guides led us further out for some incredible views; we ended up kayaking back under the moon and stars. words and pictures cannot do the tour justice. just go!

Wow, what an experience! Rodrigo and Ricardo took us snorkeling in a cenote (they provided gear), fed us supper (tamales, fruit, trail mix, coffee, guac), and led us kayaking through the lagoons. We saw the sunset and tons of birds! We enjoyed going with this group and felt like one of their friends. They take go-pros and professional cameras and share all pictures with you, free of charge. Definitely recommend this to everyone!

Raul and Rodriguez were very knowledgeable about the cenotes and the biosphere. Raul was an incredible guide who knew a lot about the history of the country and was very familiar with all the flora and fauna of the biosphere. They spoke perfect English and it was just us on the trip so it was an incredible private experience!

We had really bad wind due to the approaching storms, so the kayak was difficult. However the tour guides were great/fun and really made sure to get a lot of pictures for our memories. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous and so worth the struggle.

this was our first time in Tulum and definitely not the last. we had the pleasure of going out snorkeling and kayaking with Ishmael and he was AmAZING. he was so knowledgeable and so kind. the fruit and tamales for lunch were among the best we had ever had! i would highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting to learn more about the Eco system of Tulum and Mexico.

Ishmael and Richard were awesome guides. Their English is really good and they care about the environment and the flora and fauna. We started off in a cenote where the visibility wasn’t great because of the algae but it was still relaxing to snorkel through it. And we came across a crocodile in the brush and some schools of fish by the mangroves. My boyfriend got to dive into the water from a platform so that was fun! Then we kayaked around sunset to where a bunch of birds nest. Omg, we kayaked for 6km and saw so many species of birds. It was awesome as was the sky turning beautiful shades of orange, pink, purple and bluish gray. And we had this incredible full moon that lit to right above where our dock was. It was pretty spectacular. It’s an awesome workout but if you’re too lazy/hungover/not physically in the best shape, I’m sure to can get someone else to kayak for you as you soak up the surroundings. But we kayaked on our own... slept like a baby.
