From the minute we arrived and were greeted by our friendly captain to the moment we left, this was a top notch experience. The boat was beautiful, the safety equipment was up to date and we had a great time. There was plenty of room on the deck for everyone to watch the northern lights and the interior was comfortable for warming up. We had a great time and would definitely do it again.

Captain was very accommodating, allowed me to switch my reservation to the following night since the night I scheduled it had really bad weather. Co captain was very knowledgeable about the northern lights. Very fun and unforgettable experience!

This tour was wonderful. The catamaran was nice and well appointed with a small amount of people that did not feel crowded. Outerwear was also provided. We were able to see the northern lights for multiple hours and snap great photos. Our guide, Arno, was super friendly and knowledgeable as well.

Clement was a fabulously interesting guy who was great to talk to. Didn’t see lights until we returned to port but was great to finally see them. They were more visible through phone but still amazing to watch the cloudy images dance around the night sky. ! Beautiful view of the night landscape and the starry sky!

It was an absolutely EPIC experience. First of all, the aurora tonight is a dancing queen in flame 🔥! It keeps coming back brighter and grander. Was -8 but didn’t feel freezing on the boat. And nothing beats laying on the catamaran and gazing into the aurora dancing right over our faces.
Our captain/guide, Clement, is just perfect. He made us feel at home and warm. He’s a marine biologist specialized in polar bears. How cool is that! He introduces us to the marine lives around Tromsø area. His pictures with orcas are award winning worthy! He comes in the salon from time to time to notify people that aurora activities.
Besides that, we feel super lucky to be with a group of lovely fellow travelers.
Personally, I do prefer catamaran over bus tours. Highly recommending Arctic Eagle and our guide Clement!

We travelled from Cape Town, South Africa to Tromso,Norway to see her, Aurora Borealis.
She did not disappoint.
Our host Clement was magnifique.
Very knowledgeable and willing to share.
We felt very safe on the catamaran the entire trip.
The snacks weren't the best, but we didn't come for the snacks, we came to see the Northern Lights
Only negative though; we struggled a bit to find the catamaran.
Maybe clearer directions would help.

In all honesty I loved every minute of our cruise and the lights appearing in the final hour really put the icing on the cake of our experience!! Nick was a superb guide. He knows the area well and was able to answer all our queries about what we could see, he also gave us a clear explanation of why the lights appear. I'd much rather go out searching for the lights in a survival suit in the fresh open air on a boat than been confined in a mini bus... it was utterly fabulous!

This wasn't the luxury catamaran that we were expecting because the boat broke down but we were very delighted and happy with the replacement we were provided. We all loved the Capt and it was lovely to see him so excited for us when the lights appeared. Thank you for a wonderful and authentic experience. We were over the moon to see the lights! 5 stars definitely!

The boat is great! Warm suits available, bathroom, water, coffee tea and small snacks! The captain /host was great and knowledgeable! We got super lucky and saw the Aurora ! Super worth it!

We had such a wonderful time out with Haakon. It turned out to be just the two of us and he still happily took us out.
He went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time, checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable/warm. He also provided a snack and drinks, helping us feel at home. The catamaran was clean and cozy, and it was awesome hanging out on the net in the front. We didn’t see much light activity but the experience was so lovely we didn’t mind!

Treffpunkt sehr schwer zu finden. An beschriebenen Treffpunkt niemand aufzufinden. Gebuchtes Boot nicht mehr vor Ort.
Es sollte Snacks geben. Für 10 Personen gab es eine Tüte Nüsse.
Der Guide / Fahrer war nett und freundlich und kommunikativ.
Wetter war gut, Polarlichter konnten wir leider nicht sehen.

Nonostante fosse nuvoloso il capitano ci ha portato in mezzo al mare dove il cielo era limpido e abbiamo potuto vedere l’aurora contro ogni aspettativa!

Ein super Erlebnis - die nächtliche Katamarantour hat uns um Tromsø auf der nach Nordlichtern geführt und war ein wirklich schöner Abend mit echten Geschichten des lokalen Guides. Es war authentisch und hat echt Spaß gemacht. Und weil unsere Finger die ganze Zeit gekreuzt waren, haben wir sogar atemberaubende Polarlichter zu Gesicht bekommen! Ein wahrer Traum, ein gelungener Abend mit super Leuten und viel fachkundigen Geschichten. Absolut empfehlenswert 👍🏼

L'excursion en catamaran était absolument superbe. Nous étions en petit groupe : 5 voyageurs + le capitaine du bateau.
La sortie du canal donnait une superbe vue sur Tromsø, et après un peu d'attente et de pêche, nous avons pu observer quelques aurores pas très intense mais qui nous ont ravie tout de même.
L'ambiance était top et nous avons bien pu profiter de cette superbe soirée.
Je recommande cette excursion.

Une expérience fabuleuse, le commandant de bord était vraiment très sympathique, nous avons pêcher et vue des Aurore boréale, nous avons pu nous mettre au chaud avec un thé ou café chaud également dans la cabine du bateau car il faisait vraiment très froid. Nous avons eu une brioche et goûter du poisson sécher en chips 😅 spéciale !
