Very well researched tour of the Toronto Village. Great introduction to the local 2SLGTQIA+ history.
The tour was great! Lots of interesting information, and I really enjoyed the experience. I would definitely recommend it to others!
A fantastic tour! It offers a brilliant historical deep-dive into how Toronto’s 2SLGBTQ+ community built its support systems and vibrant village, and why the scene remains so strong today. Peter is a wealth of knowledge, effortlessly bringing key community milestones to life alongside the broader history of the city and Canada.
He was extremely professional since I turned out to be the only person booked, he could have easily cancelled, but he ran the tour anyway. As someone who works in travel, I can genuinely say this is one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. Peter’s storytelling is so vivid and descriptive that you can picture the events unfolding right in front of you.
He thoughtfully covers both the triumphs and the struggles, illustrating how progress in the country of inclusiveness didn't happen overnight, while looking ahead to what the future holds. A absolute must-do tour for 2SLGBTQ+ travelers visiting from abroad and anyone interested in local history since the 2 are closely intertwined.
Can’t recommend this tour enough! I learned a lot and it allowed me to acclimate to the city. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable.
