This was very enjoyable especially when we needed a break from the cold. The exhibits were interesting and the kids area was fun for our little one.

Easy to get to and navigate. Start at the third floor and work your way down. We spent about two hours there but you could definitely spend more.

There's no on site parking but there are prepay parking garages around the area. The exhibits are very interesting and there are a lot of cool things to see. The toddler area and dinosaur exhibits are higher up on the floor levels. I didn't research the museum before going so I wasn't aware of the toddler area and dinosaur exhibits until we stumbled across them while getting ready to leave. Had I found those areas earlier on in our visit we could've spent more time in those areas with my 2 and 3 year olds (they loved it). Overall a great experience.

The Viator ticket price ($19) was much lower than the price on the museum website ($35). Museum is wonderful. Took a free docent led tour that gave a wonderful overview of museum highlights. We also explored on our own - many very interesting exhibits, displays, and artifacts!

Great value with Viator. Points redeemed and the ticket was halved.
Viator events always are beyond expectations.

Plan to spend 2-3 hours at the Museum. We attended when a couple attractions were closed but still enjoyed the experience.

One of the best museums I’ve visited. 4 floors of great exhibits. I do recommend paying for the extra exhibits. They are so beautiful! I’m so glad they were open on a Monday!

As someone love near NYC with Chinese background, I think this is by far the best museum visit we have ever visited in North America!
I traveled with my 64 year old mother, my wife and my 2 year old kid, stayed about 2 hours there on our last day in Toronto and all had fun. My kid was fascinated with the buddhas, my mom didn't get bored because she did see quite some valuable Chinese antiques which she already had some background knowledge about, and my wife had fun seeing the big Ming dynasty style Zu Dashou tomb, I also saw a lot. I think everyone had fun, and these exhibits arw all on first floor, better than our visit in NY metroplotian museum of arts.

It was a beautiful experience and would most definitely repeat. Even though there where attractions that where not available because of climate, Or Your guide and driver, John, from QueenTour is an awesome person, your guide and human. We just loved how He took care of us and made Us felt like home. When We return to Toronto, will definitely ask for Him.

Museum is under construction and very noisy in certain areas. The sections are well organized and very informative.
Sarah_N, Feb 2025
There is many exhibits that are separately paid for, if you’re looking to have the full experience make sure you pay for more then general admission

Lots of interesting things to see! We especially enjoyed the Roman exhibit. I wish the south Asian exhibit was open that day, but hopefully next time we come we can see it.

ROM has a really extensive collection! We especially liked the galleries about ancient Egypt and dinosaurs. We did not see the special exhibits, but this booking allowed us to see all the regular exhibits.
