We loved touring around the island with Amelia. She was charming, funny, and knowledgeable. Not to mention, she is fluent in at least three languages and drives a stick shift like a boss. Our group had six and then we picked up one Spanish-speaking couple for a total of eight. We were blown away by the sites at Monte Brasil, enjoyed seeing the fisherman town, loved the cheese tasting, and had a blast putting our feet in the water of the natural pools of Biscoitos. It gave us a brief taste of the island to know better what we wanted to see and do for the rest of our trip.

Andre was terrific, comfortable van, he was very informative, had a great deal of knowledge and delivered it in a non-history teacher way. Gorgeous views, delicious cheese 🧀 tasting, a really good time and so worth the trip.

This a short trip of 3 hours to the west part of the island that it is worth doing. I was picked up at the hotel by the guide.
The rain forest in Serreta and the lava pools in Biscoitos are unique
The guide was excellent.!
We had a sick person during the trip and the guide did a lot to help

The journey as it says on the website is approximately 3 hours, we comply with all the stops and the cheese tasting offer.
We are sorry that one of the passengers felt unwell at the beginning of the tour, I remember that we resolved the situation based on our first aid training, which went very well and in which we isolated the person from the rest of the group and took him to be assisted.
We continued the tour and no one was harmed in providing the service.

Jaoa was very knowledgeable about the island and the Azores in general. I had gone on a full day tour the day before, and was the only person on this tour, so he took me to some other places. He always knew the answers to my (many!) questions and was very easy to talk to.

My sister and I did this trip on a Sunday morning with Amelia as our guide. She was right on time to pick us up at our hotel, she’s a good driver and her English tour information was excellent! This tour easy for two old ladies (63 and 70 years old) to manage as long as you are able to get in and out of a van easily! I especially liked the forested picnic area we visited and enjoyed the cheese factory as well.
