Great fun way to explore more of the island. It is very bumpy so just know that. And wear clothes you have no intention of wearing again for the trip. But it’s fun.

I didn’t know what to expect, but man was I surprised! This was so fun and exciting! My family still talks about this experience. I plan on doing this again when I visit Terceira. Highly recommended and our guide was excellent!

What a great tour of the hard to reach places of Terceira! My husband and I were in one buggy and my 80 year old parents in another. We all loved it. What a great way to see the real Terceira! Our guide was fantastic and the experience one we will all remember.

Super fun! Both on the road and off roading experience. I was on the tour with my sister, she drove the first part which was harder and we switched, I drove the second part which was easier! Super fun! Our instructors were very nice, they spoke some English enough to understand us. They checked in with us many times during the tour giving a thumbs up to make sure we were doing okay!

I have done the tour with my wife and 11-year-old daughter and it was an awesome experience for all of us. The various landscapes were very beautiful. We also crossed cows, a few goats and a rabbit.

You will ride doubles in buggy type vehicles and travel around the island some parts are through dusty terrain, some are on the roads. Stunning views throughout the experience, there is one bathroom stop and it is a while into the tour. Overall would do again!

Fun tour of Azorean countryside and seaside. UTVs all over the place! Drove through tunnels of red wood trees, rows of hydrangeas, some rugged terrain up hills, around pastures and got the best views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Amazing adventure! The kids thought it was a riot. Our guide was amazing and had our son share a buggy with him. He was laughing the whole time. Layer up clothing, the temperatures change the higher you go. We saw so much of the island and so many different zones.

We had an awesome time on the buggy tour! The route took us through beautiful forests, cobblestone paths, and some fun, muddy backroads. We passed by grazing cows and even stopped at a cheese factory, which was a nice surprise. Local cheese and tea were sooo good ! Our guide was fantastic—super friendly and really flexible. He let us stop anytime we wanted to take pictures and made sure we were comfortable the whole way. Definitely recommend this tour if you want a mix of adventure and great scenery!

Super fun adventure. Combination of paved, dirt and off road. Beautiful trails we never would have seen on a hike. John our guide continually checked in to make sure we were all doing ok. This was one of the highlights of our trip. Dress carefully- we were covered in dirt at the end of the ride

I do recommend this tour. Like others said you go through roads and parts of the island you would otherwise not see. Plan to shower and wash your clothes after! Do not expect the tour guide to talk/give explanations of history etc during 3 hour tour since he will be in his own buggy ahead of you. He is only there so you can follow him.

We, family of 4 with two boys 14 and 17, had a fantastic time! The two seater, automatic, buggy’s were very easy to drive. We discovered the western part of the island, off the beaten track through fantastic nature, beautiful forests and stunning views. Three stops during the three hour trip.
