Unfortunately our trip was cancelled, but we couldn’t get ahold of anyone to cancel this booking, so we paid for no experience. I did try for 2 days with no luck getting through.

Good overview of the island and introduction to the main sites. Only improvement we could suggest would be air conditioning in the vehicle and just a bit longer at each spot.

The tour company was very accommodating, allowing us to change our date because of a flight delay. It covered many of the highlights of Terceira Island. The lunch that was included was very good. The tour would be better if the guide provided more information about each of the stops.

Rafaella picked our group of 7 up at the airport, took us on a great tour, and then dropped us off at our hotel as requested. We were so happy with the tour that we arranged another tour for later in the week. Communication between our group the tour company (TuriAzores) was excellent.

We booked our tour on the last minute when our ship got diverted to Terceira due to high seas. We've traveled with Viator many times and this tour was very good. Small bus with only 7 customers -- not 40+ on ship tour at almost twice the price. Small van could go where big buses couldn't. Chris was an outstanding guide.

Once ashore Duard was there on the quayside waiting. there were only 4 of us compared to the busloads on the Cruise excursion. Duard took us all over the island and was very knowledgeable. even when the weather was nbad he persevered to ensure we got the best views. so many good venues but possibly the best was the wine and jam tasting at the Simas Winery. After passing the droves of Cunarders visiting a more public winery like sheep ours felt so relaxed. Overall and excellent tour and strongly recommended.

The tour itself- what we got to see was good. I wish we had more time to swim. The 1 thing I did not like was the van that we toured in kept not starting. Thank goodness that our guide was patient and super friendly- that she would keep us entertained until the van restarted. Someone also called her from their company and you could hear them yelling at her through the phone that they needed the van which she was trying to give us a good tour and we were running behind because of the van issues

I took the one day Terceira island van tour with Miguel few days ago. Had a really wonderful time despite a little bit of rain. Miguel is very professional, knowledgeable and attentive. We visited several beautiful towns, villages, parks and an amazing volcanic cave stopped at viewpoints with spectacular sceneries and had delicious lunch at a traditional restaurant. He even sent me pictures that he took whilst touring the island. Thanks to him -- Terceira has become my favorite Azores island now. I highly recommended his service.
