We did an all day tour of Teceria Island. Emilia is an amazing tour guide! We loved the passion and knowledge she has for her culture (Portugal). We seen such beautiful scenery and explored a volcanic cave. It was an indescribable experience, everyone needs to see all the beauty this island has to offer. We had a traditional Portuguese meal, which was delicious! Book your tour today, you will NOT be disappointed!
Terceira is a beautiful island. The time we spent with Carolina, the tour guide, and her new VW Bus, made the experience on this island absolutely amazing. She displays a lot of warmth, and her historical knowledge makes it all worthwhile. My daughter started getting nauseous from something that she ate, and about 2 hours into the tour, she drove us back to the hotel to drop of my daughter. I can't recommend her and Azoricatours enough.

Booked this when I was unable to go hiking with my group secondary to an injury. Mario made the day absolutely wonderful. Able to see the beautiful island of Terceira with someone who was very knowledgeable, and excited about the place he lives. I was able to understand, appreciate and learn about the Azorean culture, something I would not have gotten if I had not done this tour.
Mario is super!! He is very personable, easy to engage with and wants to make sure you enjoy the island as much as he does. He even went over and above to get some really good pictures for me!!
If you are in Terceira for a day and want to get an overview of this beautiful island, I would definitely recommend doing it with Mario. He is phenomenal!! Thank you for such a wonderful day!!
Mario was the most knowledgeable guide I have ever had. It was the most interesting day, beautiful vistas, lots of discussions ranging from geology, religion, history, meteorology, culture , you name it, he knows about his city, country and so much more. I recommend it highly.
The tour of the cave. Algae do Carvao cave. Mario had lots of stories and interesting points in history.
