DO NOT BOOK! I booked this cooking class in Taormina through Viator, but the host never showed up for the scheduled experience. Approximately five hours before the class, I attempted to contact the host to confirm the meeting details because I wanted to make sure I had the correct information. I received no response. When the scheduled time arrived and the host still had not appeared, I called multiple times and also asked neighbors in the building and people in the surrounding area if they knew where the class was being held or how to contact the host. No one had any information. I then contacted Viator for assistance. Shortly after Viator became involved, the host finally responded, but refused to provide a refund despite the fact that the experience was never provided. I made every reasonable effort to attend the experience and resolve the issue, including attempting to contact the host well in advance, calling repeatedly, asking people nearby for assistance, and contacting Viator. I paid for a service that I did not receive, through no fault of my own. The circumstances were extremely concerning, and I believe Viator should investigate this matter and issue a full refund for an experience that the host failed to provide.
