- Please note the Sydney Opera House Guided tour contains over 200 steps over the duration of the tour - Low Impact. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
- Bennelong is the Sydney Opera House's signature restaurant. Enjoy either entree and main or main and dessert with paired wines.
- Midden by Mark Olive is known for alfresco harbourside dining under the Sails of the Sydney Opera House. Enjoy either entree and main or main and dessert with two beverages your choice of Australian wine, beer of soft drinks
- Meet a member of our Welcome Team at 415pm at The Lounge of the Upper Level, near the Box Office
- Your tour will depart at 430pm. After your tour our guide will drop you off at either Bennelong or Midden by Mark Olive, depending on your booking for dinner.
- Dinner booking is from 530pm - 730pm
- Some patrons like to dress up and make a special night of their Sydney Opera House experience, whilst others choose to dress casually for comfort. Please note for dinner bookings it is not necessary to wear a jacket and tie
- Venue access is subject to availability at the time of your tour and can change up until tour departure time.

If you are impressed by the Opera House on the outside, wait until you see the inside! This is an absolute engineering marvel. Michael was an excellent guide and gave us all the history and even technical knowledge about how the Opera House came to be, including the fact that they were still working on it as little as 3 years ago! The dinner at the end was lovely. We chose the Midden, the less expensive of the two options, but worth more than what we paid. The head chef is of aboriginal origin and his menu is inspired by his culture. Overall a very memorable experience!

Fantastic one hour tour of the OperaHouse! Our guide Peter was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, design and construction of this iconic building including acoustics, and provided detailed information about the performances. What a treat to have such an enthusiastic and accomplished guide. The included meal at the Midden restaurant featuring Indigenous inspired cuisine was amazing. This experience was the highlight of our trip!

This tour was excellent. We had a small group of only four people and a very knowledgeable tour guide. The food at the Midden restaurant was delicious. My husband wasn’t looking forward to this, but he admitted that he enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

Be prepared to be in awe! The structure of the Sydney Opera House and the the people who greet you and show you the beauty of the place are amazing! There are fabulous concert halls and magnificent steps — and lots of them!

This was a wonderful tour. The guide was incredibly informative and was very friendly. We really enjoyed learning about the construction of the opera house and getting to see the various halls. The dinner at the end was delicious and the ambiance was amazing.

I thought this was a wonderful overview of the Opera House. Our guide was knowledgeable and took us into as many venues as he could. Explained how the structure is built. Also told some very funny anecdotes. The restaurant was amazing. I was very surprised at the choices and the quality of the food.. I would highly highly recommend this tour.

We loved the visit and tour of this iconic building. Our tour guide was knowleable and it was so interesting to hear about how it was designed, building and paid for, all very fascinating. We were able to see the main hall - which was great. The meal afterwards at Midden was fabulous too.

This is a must do experience and better to take the private tour than the big group tours they offer. You may pay more, it it’s worth it. And dinner was nice. Just be prepared for all the stairs!

Our guide, Katerina, was amazing. She provided an excellent tour of the opera house. We were lucky it was just the two of us on the tour. The two course dinner was perfect. Lovely presentation and the food was so tasty.

The Sydney Opera House is amazing and our guide was outstanding in telling the history of the building, as well as showing as much as we could cover in the limited amount of time for this tour. The dining experience was nice, but since it was a hot day, we were in the heat and sun for this, which made it less pleasurable.

Well informed tour. No behind the scenes, just simple tour where we popped into 2 theatres. Could not take pictures in either due to there being a set. However, it was informative the guide was pleasant. Food was good, not amazing.

The VIP tour was good, but we hoped for a little more. We did not get to see the big Opera house because there was a practice session going on. We did not get to see any dressing rooms. Hate to say it, but our Bennelong dinner was just okay. We had a friend recommend this tour. I guess we had huge expectations. Especially for the price of this tour and that it was not refundable after booking.
