- A number of spaces are available for wheelchairs in each theatre at the Sydney Opera House. Wheelchairs are available from the Stage Door for use by patrons free of charge. Wheelchair access is by ramp from the southern entrance of the Concourse. Undercover wheelchair access is available from Stage Door and the Sydney Opera House Car Park. It is essential that you specify any needs when proceeding with your booking.
- Dogs or any animals trained to assist people with disabilities are welcome inside all theatres and restaurants.
- Please ask staff for assistance with receivers which are available from the Concert Hall and Opera Theatre cloak rooms and in the Drama Theatre, Playhouse and The Studio foyers.
- Performances run on specific dates and times. These dates are provided and times will vary depending on the date selected.
- All performances have full English subtitles projected on a screen above the stage.

We purchased Sydney Opera House tickets the day of the event and although there were limited seafaring due to our last minute plan, we found the tickets less expensive on your site than the opera’s website. Our seats were great and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great venue and acoustics. A little disappointing that Hansel and Gretel were both female as it became difficult to differentiate who was singing as both sang in the same Octave.

Watching an opera at the Sydney Opera House was unforgettable. The venue is stunning, the acoustics are excellent, and the staff made entry smooth and easy.
Even if you’re not an opera fan, it’s worth it for the atmosphere and the chance to experience a performance in one of the world’s most famous landmarks.

The combination of the stunning setting, incredible acoustics, and smooth organisation really does make the whole evening feel effortless and magical. Even for people who aren’t regular opera-goers, it’s such an iconic and atmospheric experience that it’s hard not to be impressed.

We made a last minute decision to book this tour. We saw Cinderella at the Sydney Opera House. It was fantastic. We had great seats - Row M 28-31, stage center. Definitely would recommend!

Great life experience- magnificent facility (beauty and functionality). Enjoyed the music and singing immensely, the play however was a little hard to follow and lacked sufficient effectiveness portraying the book Candide as a comedy. The clarity of the actors lines speaking or singing (other than the narrator) could have been better, it may have made the attempts to entertain and carry the comedy with the few punch lines that were used.

The opera I saw was La Traviata. It was excellent and my seat was also excellent. I had a middle seat in row H. The seats were quite comfortable with plenty of leg room.

The opera was absolutely fantastic! My best friend told me I needed to see an Opera in Sydney and she was correct. We saw La Traviata and enjoyed the experience. Also there is not a single bad seat in the theater, we were in the balcony and could see and hear perfectly. My mom mentioned that the acoustics were really good. Definitely would go again.

The opera was totally subpar. You sit up in the upper tier. You are pretty high up and it is difficult to see. On the positive side, picking up the tickets was very easy and the venue itself is beautiful. But Cinderella was a really, very juvenile and boring opera that has this quick ending to it which just simply doesn’t work.

Beyond memorable. Plenty of places to eat before and after the performance. Fantastic views of the harbour and seriously, you can't come to Sydney without going to a performance at the Opera or Concert halls.

Our Australian/New Zealand cruise started & ended in Sydney. We knew we couldn’t leave without seeing & experiencing an opera. La Traviata was playing. The cast was amazing, supported by the Opera Australia Orchestra & Chorus & performed in the majestic Sydney opera house. We were not disappointed!!!

The theme about enduring love is timeless but Violeta’s illness should be changed from tuberculosis to something else. Why? TB is contagious and if she did have active infectious process, it could have been very unfortunate for the others around her to be infected. Cancer of the cervix should have been more appropriate since she is a courtesan and that their promiscuous lifestyle during that era cannot be ignored.
