I had previously done a general tour of the Opera House, and found this architectural tour to be absolutely fascinating, as it covered the history, costs, and challenges of building this world, Heritage site as well as literal architectural details like the type of Stone and Glass, Etc. Our guide was extremely well informed and shared a great deal of information in a very easy to understand, clear way as we worked our way around and through the Opera House. I have so much more appreciation for the structure, and I’m so surprised that such a major undertaking was done with only a concept in mind at the beginning! Take this tour to find out more of those details… I highly recommend it!

Our guide, Peter, delivered an excellent performance level narrative of the history and politics behind the design and construction of the Opera House. His presentation was clear and comprehensive in the information that we were eager to learn. His informal, and often comedic, delivery was perfect for keeping our attention for the 90 - 120 minutes of the tour. And his pacing of our journey though this massive structure was considerate for the elderly among our group. WELL DONE.

Our Guide was very knowledgeable about the architecture tour because he had previously worked at the Opera house as an architectural engineer. It was a very interesting tour learning the history of how the building was built.

This tour was incredible. Peter, our guide took us through the intricacies of the building of the Opera House from an insider. He was one of the architects involved in its building. It was so intriguing, stimulating & super informative. The headsets provided made it very easy to hear him & not have to be beside him on the journey through. This was one of the highlights of our Sydney visit & I would highly recommend this as a must do.

After seeing the large number of people in our group, we were a bit concerned.
Our guide, Peter, was excellent. He spoke clearly and set a nice pace while managing the large group(35). Headphones were helpful and we never noticed any static. Peter encouraged questions and always had a clear answer.

A brief technical narrative about the conceptual design through construction including difficult engineering aspects, personality and professional conflicts coupled with political and cultural necessities. The guide was very knowledgeable and directed his group in a professional and enjoyable manner. Very educational.

I thought the architectural tour of the opera house was extremely informative and really worthwhile. Truly enjoyed the experience. The only negative point was actually with Viator this time. This location pickup provided was inaccurate and almost missed the experience.
