An hour in the Barossa Valley without the flight.

If you love dry wine, red more than white and are unfamiliar with the Barossa Valley, this is a high end introduction. The wines we tried were complex and varied. Edward our sommelier was knowledgeable and engaging.

The cellar was amazing. We came to Sydney for New Year's and didn't have time to head to a winery. The tasting was great with a good balance of information and humor. There wasn't much convincing needed for us to pick up a bottle. The neighborhood is also great for dinner afterwards.

The wine tasting was a good experience but I felt that the staff member did not provide enough feedback and dialogue with us during our tasting to enhance the experience or promote the wine beyond just our tasting of the different wines.

Tasting Wine!

With the weather not playing the game we arrived for a tasting at this great cellar door. Jack welcomed us in with a glass of bubbles, and we proceeded to taste 6 great wines! Totally reccomend this tasting if short on time in Sydney. Thank you we had a great time.

Wine paradise

This is a must do for people who love great wine. The only 'chateau' in Australia. The wines we tasted were from vines aged 50 years, 100 years and 150 years. All the wines we tasted were sensational. Jack, our host, is the perfect ambassador for Chateau Tanunda. Very engaging and knowledgeable.

We are huge wine aficionados and absolutely loved this experience. Having done many wineries throughout Australia, we did not have time to visit the Barossa Valley and this was a great stop to make while in Sydney. The wine was outstanding, the history enlightening, Justin was terrific. We shipped a case of wine home we enjoyed it so much!
