This was our 2nd time taking this tour and we enjoyed it very much. Our tour guide Shawn was excellent in his knowledge of the island, and he made sure we all had a great time. He was happy to take our pictures. We enjoyed each stop on this tour. If you are looking for a tour to take in St. Maarten/St. Martin I would totally recommend this tour. Next time we come back to the island we will book it again (yes, it is that good).

Scheduled departure was 9:00 am. They arrived at 8:15 am, not enough time for us to get coffee, rushed out on our first day of vacation. Absolutely no history except what the driver rattled off about the taxi business. He skipped the Fort, the main reason that we took this tour. Instead, we went to the market at the base of the hill and he pointed to the Fort, "that there is the history Fort". Skipped the beach by the airport, "No planes so no beach". Do NOT take this tour. I spoke with the manager after he dropped us off 30 minutes early - she said "I sent you an email late last night about the time change - we never said we would go to the Fort, but you did see the Fort".
I usually trust Viatour for quality, but now I'm double guessing.
Don't waste your money on this tour.

I would have given 5 except the pickup was a challenging experience. I was told 820 we arrive at 810 I reach out at 830 and they were like driver stuck in traffic. Ok why not just tell me in advance like the original time. Asked to confirm location as not all vehicles can get to us and no reply. Then at 845ish I’m told the ride was at the front hotel and had to walk over. Very annoyed we began out journey.
The tour itself was very informative and included great views and a friendly tour guide. We stopped for food and it was the best curry goat I’ve ever had. Exactly as described and enjoyable.

Booked this tour in the middle of the week for my friend and I. We were only ones there so it was like our own little private tour. Our tour guide, Dennis, was very knowledgeable and friendly! It was our first excursion of the trip so many of tips he gave us we used throughout our trip. He even showed us how to get to the beach from our Airbnb. 10/10 Would recommend!

This tour gives you the very highlights of Dutch & French sides of the island in a half day. Concise facts and history about the island and each spots of sights were given on the way by the tour guide. Good experience. Recommended.

We had a wonderful and relaxing tour with Dennis. We were well taken care as we got the history of the island and made several stops. Dennis made sure we had the pictures we wanted and enjoyed our lunch at the suggested place. Highly recommended!

We had Dennis as our director. He was amazing and personalized the experience for our family. He was very knowledgeable and kind. The company was very patient. Red Rise tour bus was very clean and cool. They also had complementary beverages. Dennis was a director that seemed liked he knew you forever! He made the trip enjoyable and helped out in every way he could. He took photos for us and waited longer for our family due to us getting our food late. This tour is not only air conditioned, but educates you on the area well, molds to your needs and wants, and is enjoyable. This tour goes to amazing spots on the island. It is also very affordable/reasonably priced. This tour is a must on the beautiful island! This tour bus and the kind directors are excellent!

Tour was great and friendly! Lots of interesting information about the island and people. I liked how the tour wasn’t too long, but each stop still had enough time to relax, walk around, take photos, etc. Pick up from the hotel and everything was well prepared and easy.

Our guide was very caring to us, he explained everything to us, anwered all our questions. Drive safely. He makes us laugh. Definitely we like the Dutch side more. I was with my daughter (51-71) and another couple. It was a VIP tour.

We had a slight wait to begin the tour because of late passengers. The tour guide was very interactive and knowledgeable. The tour was good with the French side being more interesting in my view. You get dropped to your chosen location at the end. Beverages are provided in a cooler.

Dennis with Red Rose Island Tours was the absolute best! Once he heard we had seen some of the sites already, he made new suggestions for stops. We felt like we got to see the whole island! Dennis shared history about the island and daily life and it was truly a great tour. We highly recommend Dennis and this tour with Red Rose!!!

We booked this tour through Viator as it was much better value than the tours offered by Royal Caribbean. I called the tour company ahead of time and agreed to adjust both the start time and tour route, which was great as we wanted to stop at Maho at the end when the biggest planes land. We met with the tour guide/driver Shaun outside of the cruise terminal gate and started the tour in an air-conditioned minivan with the cooler full of soft drinks and rum punch. Our first stop was at Orient Bay where we had 1.5 hours to relax, this would be a great place to actually spend the whole day. After that we went to Marigot, where we could wander around town and climb to Fort Louis with beautiful views and many iguanas walking around. Our last stop was at Maho Beach, another 1.5 hours, plenty of time to go for a swim or watch the planes land and take off. Shaun was telling us about the history and the places we went through. Instead of going back to the cruise terminal we were dropped off at Philipsburg and visited Yoda Guy exhibit and souvenir shops. My wife and I as well as our 2 kids (14 and 11 year old) all enjoyed the tour and would recommend this as a great alternative to what cruise lines offer.
