Follow your guide around the 6,000-square-foot (557-square-meter) distillery during your hands-on tour. Learn about the history of Caribbean rum-making. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the fermentation, distillation, filtering, and blending process for Topper’s rum, and also learn how different flavored rums are created. You may even have the chance to try new flavors in development.
The tour concludes in the tasting bar, where you can try several samples of the many commercial rum products Topper produces, as well as their rhum cake, and shop for souvenirs.

Very informative, you get to meet great new people while taking shots and sharing a few snacks. Definitely a great experience. Our tour guide Tasha was excellent and explaining and sharing all the stories about Rhum.

My cousins and I attended the rum tour in a Friday evening with Sparkle as our tasting guide! She was a good time from beginning to end! Her storytelling and rhum knowledge kept up engaged the whole time! It’s definitely a must when you are in St Marteen.

Great time with Cindy and the Toppers crew who made sure our group was engaged and hands on while tasting over 20 varieties of Toppers Rhum. We ended up bringing home a bottle and box of rhum cake. Highly recommend!

Such a fun addition to our girls trip. Our guide Sydney had a great personality, and made learning about the distillery so fun. We each bought the mini bottles box to bring home as souvenirs, and it definitely can be used to gift to multiple. 10/10 would recommend

The rum tour was such a fun experience and definitely worth it! We got to sample a variety of rums, learn about the distilling process, and the atmosphere was relaxed from start to finish.
A huge shoutout to Cindy—she was an amazing host! She was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience so much fun with her energy and personality. She kept everyone engaged, answered all of our questions, and made us feel right at home. If you get the chance to take this tour, I hope you get Cindy as your host. She truly made the experience a 10/10!

We tried 22 different rums and rum cake and rum chicken! Sparkles made sure we were entertained the whole time but the whole group was alot of fun! We had such a great time!

I did not enjoy the tour. Our tour guide was unprofessional. Her attempts at comedy didn’t land. Part of her routine was flirting and making inappropriate comments to the women and men who were with their partners. She used unnecessary cursing. Her behavior made my group uncomfortable. She thought one of her coworkers was being unprofessional and she reprimanded the young lady in front of us . She then talked about the incident for 10 minutes of the tour. We walked out and left. The other groups who had another tour guide seemed to enjoy the tour maybe we just lucked out

I was about 10 minutes late due to traffic but Sparkles and the rest of the team allowed me to join the tour with no problems. A lot of good information about the distillery and a lot of good rhum!

Topper’s rum tasting tour was a very lively and fun experience. Our Host Sparkles made our experience memorable. She gave us some history and was very enthusiastic &energetic. She surprised us with a cooking demonstration and the chicken was very tasty. It’s not a full meal but just a tasting to demonstrate how you can incorporate Toppers rum into your recipes.

The tour was alright. The thing that upset me is that at the end of tour they try to get you to buy their rum by telling you that you can take it on the plane. That was a lie. You have to check it in a bag. They do not tell you that. I even asked our tour guide if I could take it on the plane with me and she said yes. I believed her. She said as long as I don’t open it. Of course, at the airport, security confiscated my 2 bottles. When I reached out to the company to let them know what happened and if they could ship me the two bottles that we’re taken from me, I never heard back from them. Very poor Customer Service in my opinion.

The guide was so nice and very knowledgeable. Tasting 22 rum flavors was amazing. The cheesecake and pineapple were my favorite. I got some gelato and rum cake to go bc it was delicious as well.

I had an amazing experience at Topper’s Rhum Distillery! The tour was both fun and educational. I learned a lot about the rum-making process, the different types of rum, and what makes each flavor unique. The rum tasting was excellent, and I especially enjoyed sampling the rum cake and the delicious seasoning used on the chicken.
The variety of rum flavors was phenomenal, and there was truly something for everyone to enjoy. Cristina was an outstanding guide and teacher. She made the tour engaging, informative, and entertaining from start to finish. One of the highlights of the experience was getting the opportunity to participate in bottling a bottle of rum myself.
If you’re visiting St. Maarten, I highly recommend adding Topper’s Rhum Distillery to your itinerary. It’s a memorable experience filled with great flavors, hands-on activities, and friendly staff.

The tour was great! My party and I went to Toppers straight from the plane! Our flight was delayed, so we were 20 mins late to our tour. Though we were late, the staff still accommodated us and allowed us to join the tour! There was such a wide variety of flavors, some we loved and some we hated. We definitely left feeling buzzed and like we got our bang for our buck! Best part is we woke up the next morning with no headache! I appreciate how hands on and inclusive the tour guide was during her presentation. Allowing the guest to physically participate in activities during the tour made it all the more memorable. 10/10, would def recommend!

I had an amazing time. My guide was incredibly fun, engaging, and kept the energy high throughout the entire experience. As for the tasting, it was some of the smoothest rum I have ever had! There were 20 samples and I enjoyed most of them. The rum cake was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this tour if you are visiting St. Maarten!

It was such an amazing time, Carol made sure we was educated on everything while having a great time. We were able to even mingle with the other group and later became a connection. We also were able to meet the CEO, everything was just amazing and was a great start to our trip. Will definitely be back. We also purchased some of the rum and was just as great during the tasting!
