Follow your guide around the 6,000-square-foot (557-square-meter) distillery during your hands-on tour. Learn about the history of Caribbean rum-making. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the fermentation, distillation, filtering, and blending process for Topper’s rum, and also learn how different flavored rums are created. You may even have the chance to try new flavors in development.

I had an amazing experience at Topper’s Rhum Distillery! The tour was both fun and educational. I learned a lot about the rum-making process, the different types of rum, and what makes each flavor unique. The rum tasting was excellent, and I especially enjoyed sampling the rum cake and the delicious seasoning used on the chicken.
The variety of rum flavors was phenomenal, and there was truly something for everyone to enjoy. Cristina was an outstanding guide and teacher. She made the tour engaging, informative, and entertaining from start to finish. One of the highlights of the experience was getting the opportunity to participate in bottling a bottle of rum myself.
If you’re visiting St. Maarten, I highly recommend adding Topper’s Rhum Distillery to your itinerary. It’s a memorable experience filled with great flavors, hands-on activities, and friendly staff.

The tour was great! My party and I went to Toppers straight from the plane! Our flight was delayed, so we were 20 mins late to our tour. Though we were late, the staff still accommodated us and allowed us to join the tour! There was such a wide variety of flavors, some we loved and some we hated. We definitely left feeling buzzed and like we got our bang for our buck! Best part is we woke up the next morning with no headache! I appreciate how hands on and inclusive the tour guide was during her presentation. Allowing the guest to physically participate in activities during the tour made it all the more memorable. 10/10, would def recommend!

I had an amazing time. My guide was incredibly fun, engaging, and kept the energy high throughout the entire experience. As for the tasting, it was some of the smoothest rum I have ever had! There were 20 samples and I enjoyed most of them. The rum cake was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this tour if you are visiting St. Maarten!

It was such an amazing time, Carol made sure we was educated on everything while having a great time. We were able to even mingle with the other group and later became a connection. We also were able to meet the CEO, everything was just amazing and was a great start to our trip. Will definitely be back. We also purchased some of the rum and was just as great during the tasting!

Our host and guide was truly exceptional, bringing infectious energy and genuine passion to every moment of the tour. What set her apart was her remarkable depth of knowledge — she wove together the history of rum with fascinating tidbits from cultures around the world, creating a sense of connection among everyone in the group. It’s a nice small size group and you learn about the history of Rhum. You have the opportunity to taste the different Rhums. It was great trying the ice cream and cake that were infused with a flavored rhum

When it came down to the rum tasting at Topper’s Rhum Distillery, it was easily a 5-star experience. Cindy was an amazing instructor. She was funny, engaging, and had a personality that could light up a room. She had everyone introduce themselves at the beginning, and by the end of the tour, we all felt much closer. She made the entire experience memorable and enjoyable from start to finish.

Trip was lots of fun that includes sipping of different Rhum tasting. I only gave 4 stars due to finding out that we have to get own transportation there which wasn’t a big deal being that we were a 10 minute walk from it.
Getting own transportation information should be emphasize more bolder.
Other than that Topper’s Rhum did not disappoint. I recommend adults that like Rhum and want some fun.

Our tour guide Cindy was amazing and was very thorough and interactive. It was interesting to learn the history and see the hands on operation. Everyone was very friendly. We then proceeded to eat at the restaurant and the coconut shrimp was fantastic!

Absolutely outstanding! 129 bottles of rhum on the wall 🎶🎶… and then the tasting begins… This was so fun and informative, and there was even cooking! Absolutely lovely! We tasted, we learned, and we tasted some more, we cooked, we tasted some more, we learned some more. We learned how to make the product, we learned about small batch rhum, About, the history, and it was so much fun! Well, worth it! So much information!

Very lovely rum tasting experience! Their rum is unique and I was a little bummed I can't get the limited batches outside the St Maarten island. Traveling to get there was a little challenging but was fine with taxi from Phillipsburg. Don't stay to late as traffic going back to Phillipsburg is a nightmare

We did the Toppers Rum Tour and Teresa was a vibe , she was engaging and entertaining and we learned a lot without feeling like being in school on vacation. They didn't have the flavor we wanted in stock after our tour but we stopped by before heading back home to get gelato and Teresa remembered us and sold us the flavor we had wanted. A must do experience in St. Marteen.

What a wonderful experience we had enjoying homemade "Rhum" at Toppers!! The atmosphere was enjoyable and the added benefi t of the culinary experience truly "topped" it off. Afterward we enjoyed appetizers and drinks in the "light house" bar and got to meet Mr. Topper himself, the owner and proprietor.
