Captain Benji and his crew are absolutely phenomenal! As soon as you board this beautiful boat, they have fresh fruit/snacks and some delicious rum punch waiting for you. He thoroughly explains safety precautions and rules of the boat and truly makes you feel comfortable. The crew was very helpful in every which way. We had 2 swimming stops at two different beaches. The first stop included a snorkel stop as well. We had our own snorkel gear, but I was surprised and put at ease that the crew provided snorkel gear that was drenched in a cleaning solution! We traveled with our 8 yr old son who was a little apprehensive to jump in the ocean without me, and captain Benji took it upon himself to jump in the water with him! The crew provided a delicious lunch, and kept the drinks flowing the entire time! We spotted several planes landing above us as well which was a nice added bonus! I cannot recommend this excursion enough! Book it an you won’t be disappointed! Several travelers on board mentioned this was the best excursion they have experienced! The views of the island from the boat are truly stunning! Thank you again to Captain Benji and your amazing crew! My family and I will book with you guys again!

We took our kids (5 and 9) and our whole family loved it! Perfect way to see St. Maarten and have a blast along the way. Crew was so accommodating and the food was delicious for lunch. Open bar and great snorkel and swim sites. We would definitely do this again next time we visit the island.

A perfect day on the water. We were greeted with delicious snacks and drinks. The snorkeling was a super cool experience that I'll never forget. The crew did a great job at making us feel safe. We had an absolutely amazing time on the Phoenix catamaran tour in St. Maarten! The crew was extremely friendly and made us feel right at home the entire time. The rum punch was incredible and so relaxing, the food was awesome, and we met some great new friends along the way. We would definitely book with them again in a heartbeat. Good catamaran experience but very bad booking company

The catamaran was wonderful. We were promised a drop off at our hotel but no driver showed and we paid $40 for a Taxi. This is a very deceptive practice. In this case, I give the hosting/ booking company a 2 star.

Sail The Phoenix does not offer hotel pickup or drop-off, and no driver would have been scheduled as part of your charter. Because your reservation was made through Viator, we are limited by the way certain booking questions and options are displayed on their platform. For example, requesting cruise ship information from guests requires us to also enable pickup/drop-off fields, even though transportation is not a service we provide. We do state this in the additional booking information, but we understand that it can unfortunately be easy to miss and that the booking process may have given you a different impression. We completely understand how frustrating it would be to expect transportation and then unexpectedly have to pay $40 for a taxi. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will continue looking for ways to make the transportation information as clear as possible for guests booking through third-party platforms.

The Phoenix was the perfect excursion for my husband and I, as well as our 7 year old son. The captain and the entire team went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent day. Snorkeling was awesome, the swim spot was perfect and lunch was delicious. Our son loved that there were two spots to jump off the boat. Cheers to them for a great day on the water!

this was my favorite part of my trip! i went snorkeling and i felt super safe we saw cool fishes, the food was amazing! all the crew were incredibly nice and super funny. i got water in my ear and couldn’t get it out and they helped me immediately. they were super on point with anything needed and had amazing energy! a day i’ll never forget i will be back!

We had an amazing time on this catamaran tour with Rafi, Rajeed & Camille! From start to finish, the crew was friendly, professional, and made sure everyone had a great experience. The catamaran was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of Sint Maarten. The lunch provided was delicious and exceeded our expectations, and the open bar kept the drinks flowing throughout the trip. The snorkeling stop was definitely a highlight. The crew made everyone feel safe and provided all the equipment we needed.

My family of four recently went on the 5-hour Catamaran Tour with Phoenix, and unfortunately, it wasn't the experience we were hoping for. The captain and crew were very friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout the trip, and the food was actually very good. However, the biggest issue was the locations where we stopped to snorkel and have lunch. Each stop was close to shore where the water was extremely rough. Both my daughter and I became so seasick that we ended up vomiting, which made it impossible to enjoy the excursion or even the meal. We've been on at least three other catamaran excursions throughout the Caribbean, and those tours anchored farther offshore where the water was much calmer. This experience was noticeably rougher than anything we've encountered before. One other suggestion would be to make non-alcoholic beverages more visible and readily available. It seemed like alcohol was constantly being offered, while you had to specifically ask for other drink options. Not everyone wants to drink alcohol throughout the excursion. While I truly appreciated the kindness of the captain and crew, the rough conditions at every stop made this tour disappointing for our family.

Our engines were tested that morning, and the mechanical issue was discovered shortly before departure, leaving us very little time to contact every guest before arrival. Not for kids, but the crew was excellent

The crew of the Phoenix was fantastic. Even though Viator allows booking for families with children, the catamaran is really meant for teens to adults. They didn’t have child size fins, life vests, and snorkeling equipment. The crew was professional, courteous, and respectful. They returned us to the dock early and dropped us off with a full refund as they could not accommodate our needs. I recommend this catamaran snorkel excursion for adults and late teens.

We do want to clarify that The Phoenix does carry children’s (and infants) life vests and snorkeling equipment. For safety reasons, children under 8 years old are generally not provided with fins. Children 8 and older may use fins if they are confident swimmers, the fins fit properly, and our crew determines they can use them safely.
