Awesome. Was hoping to see other sea creatures from a distance other than a Sea spider and fish BUT GRATEFUL AND THANKFUL. A. Unique experience. We had personal attention… no one on excursion but my partner and I. Could not ask for better. My partner could not swim but he was not afraid of water. He was apprehensive and could not sleep the night before but HE DID GREAT!!!!

Professional, friendly instructors, lots of supervision and guidance during the entire experience. The trek itself is fantastic! Coming up close and personal with so many cool underwater friends, it's truly a whole new world down there!

Please arrive 30 minutes before your tour at the Bobby’s Marina Kiosk, next to the Water Taxi Gazebo and beside Aziana Restaurant. Look for the Sea Trek sign, which will be clearly displayed. Transportation to the meeting point is not included.

Wetsuits are not included in the tour. it’s important to try on the helmet, it must adjust well to enjoy the activity.
To be able to participate in Sea Trek, you need to be at least 8 years old, able to walk and climb a ladder, equalize/pop your ears and you should be in good overall physical condition.
Before the tour, we ask you to sign a waiver-both for medical and liability. Adults must sign by minors. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
This activity should not be performed within 12 hours of a scheduled flight

Not recommended those with back/neck injuries, history of seizures, ear problems, vertigo, recent surgeries, heart conditions, epilepsy, claustrophobia, hypertension or asthma.

The seatrek itself was great, but first impressions were not great. We were told to arrive 30 min prior for our 1130am excursion. We arrived with another group of people at 1050. We all waited till 1135 when I contacted Viator. I was told they couldn’t reach the owner of the event. At 1140 a guy comes running up to us, saying to follow him if we were there for the seatrek. We all follow and he puts papers in front of us asking us to sign. We asked what we were signing and he said “ everyone had to sign”. We explained the paper ask if we agree to everyone on page one ( there was no page one). It also says “please confirm you were cleared by a doctor to do this”, along with what hotel are you staying at, and your room number. Some things I didn’t think they needed, nor did I know I needed a doctor to clear me. He couldn’t show me what the first page said so we didn’t sign. He was rushing the entire group and the other felt the same. After questioning the person he took us out, and from this point forward it was better. The experience was great. It was just very odd to start and it ran late. It says 2.5 hours it was definitely only about a 30 min under water, the rest was snorkeling. Maybe 1.5 hours total.

Be wary of the weather. Its was pouring, foggy, cloudy, rough seas and they tried to say it was calm at the sight. We saw 3 to 4 ft waves and swells.

Very safe and unique excursion. So glad to do it. We are ages 65-76 and were very confident in the care and attention of the SeaTrek workers. The only glitch is the photos- we are still waiting for a link and a way to purchase them. We hope SeaTrek will provide those soon!

Trip Cancelled, Poor Communication

Tour got cancelled due to “weather.” Stood around with no notice for nearly an hour on a dock before a guy walked up, asked if anyone was there for SeaTrek and that it was cancelled. On a positive note, Viator was very helpful in getting me a refund.

Fantastic underwater experience

The Seatrek excursion was great. We weee a little nervous about the helmet and set up but the crew explained everything clearly and were with us every step of the way. The underwater walk was easy and we saw loads of fish and even an octopus. We highly recommend this tour

The your was as advertised. People very helpful and friendly. My wfe was unable to get her ears and balance and could not do the walk. It was interesting and I found the displays were old and rails not in good shape. As for my last review I would probably not do it again. The price is what I would a bit excessive. But very pleasant staff.

What a disappointment

Super unorganized. Tour started over an hour late. By the time we got to the platform it was almost 2 hrs late. We are on a cruise, because they started late, we ran out of time and we were going to miss our ship, so we had to have them take us back to the dock. We never got to do the actual activities due to their disorganization. We basically sat around today for 4 hours and never got to go. I was very much looking forward to this, and I'm super disappointed, plus we wasted our whole day on the island waiting. How disappointing

Disappointing outcome, but nice staff

This tour will definitely cancel on you last minute. I booked on Friday for a Sunday excursion. They notified us Saturday evening (late) asking us if we could possibly reschedule, but provided no reason. I responded to the message that we couldn’t reschedule since we were flying out that same day and asked if we should still show. They never responded, so we showed up at 8am that Sunday as stated in the instructions. The tour guide was there, and he was very nice, but he just told us they weren't doing the tour that day and to request a refund. In my opinion, if they weren’t going to run the tour on Sunday, that day should not have been offered to schedule. Very disappointing, because it was my most anticipated activity on the trip.

Very unprofessional. We waited for an hour to do the excursion to find out it was canceled. We didn't receive anything saying the excursion was canceled. We contacted Viator to get a refund and now we are waiting for the excursion to contact Viator to confirm it was canceled.

The Adventures of being a water astronaut!

I am GLAD I did this AMAZING activity!! The staff were extremely supportive. They answered any concerns that were asked regarding the overall activity, helmet, etc. The staff constantly checked on us while under water. The SeaTrek activity itself was amazing. We breathe normal in the helmets. The helmets had lots of room in them and no water entered the helmet, if you followed the instructions given prior to going down. Lastly, AMAZING photos were taken while under water that can be purchased-worth the purchase. You can also use your personal camera but I strongly suggest before going down turn your video on and begin videoing before going down bc some cameras would not work due to the pressure underwater. I HIGHLY recommend this activity, even for non swimmers!

This was so much fun! The whole family loved it and it was such a unique experience. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. They even helped my wife who was having a slight panic attack make it down! Thank you to the entire Sea Trek team!
