Simanie was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and made our St. Maarten / St. Martin private tour a wonderful experience. He shared a lot of interesting information about the island, its history, and the different areas we visited, which made the tour both enjoyable and informative. We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Richard from Red Rose Tours in St. Martin! From the moment we started, Richard was incredibly informative, sharing fascinating insights about the island while keeping the atmosphere fun and engaging. His positive attitude made the entire tour even more enjoyable.
What really stood out was how attentive he was to our interests—he made sure we saw every point of interest we had hoped for, and even added a few special touches along the way. His driving was excellent, and we always felt completely safe and at ease.

We did a 1/2 day island tour with Richard, who was a great tour guide! He’s very friendly and knowledgeable about the island and its history. He grew up on St.Maarten. He’s flexible, depending on what you want to see and do. We loved feeding the iguanas and seeing the monkeys! Had a great lunch in Marigot along with visiting the local market and other points of interest.

Great trip to both sides of the island. Harold let us personalize to what we were looking for. We did some shopping, ate some of the local food, had a drink, learned some history and saw the planes at Maho beach. Perfect for our group of 10-70 year olds. Everyone loved it and Harold was a treat to be around. Highly recommend!

Tour was excellent and our tour guide Rio was fantastic! We went to the main sights of the island, had time an each place to get out of the car for photos and/or extra sightseeing, Rio was great telling us about each stop and all the sights along the route. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

We met Richard at the airport to go on a full tour of the island and the drop off was at our hotel. If you are wanting a flexible , informative
and fun tour visiting all tourist sites of the island as well as plenty of off the beaten track locations too , then this is the perfect tour.

What was not to like. We laughed our way around the island, having a great time with Richard. We saw beautiful views, beaches, history and more. We ate an amazing traditional lunch at a local market, tried local beers and saw locals dancing for the crowds.
The car was comfortable with cold water, soda and beers in the esky.

We had a very thorough tour of the island. Richard. Our driver, was very informative and wanted to do whatever we wanted. I mentioned that I wanted a particular perfume and he went out of his way to check several stores and we finally found one! We saw the entire island and at the end he dropped us where we wanted to have lunch, rather than back at our condo. A very nice job!

Our guide Claudia was great. She took us everywhere we wanted to go, recommended authentic local food and was very considerate. St. Maarten is pretty impoverished from what I could tell but the natural beauty was lovely.

Cornelius was an excellent guide and driver. We really appreciated the personal service and ability to customize our itinerary. He had great suggestions for points of interest and we loved hearing about the island. He was so helpful with my mom who is in her 80s and even had a stool to help her climb up into the van. He always offered his hand/arm as assistance in any walking we were doing. Thank you for making our visit to St Martin so special! It was our favorite stop/island on our 9 island cruise and much of that was thanks to Cornelius. I know I plan to come back and see more of it!

We enjoyed our tour, and our guide was very friendly and accommodating. He took us wherever we wanted to go and pointed out things along the way. We booked a private tour for my wife, my two kids, and me. Our two kids did not come with us, but if they had, I would have had an issue with the size of the vehicle we were picked up in. It was fine for two of us, but if there were 4 of us, it would have been three squished in the back seat and me sitting shotgun. In any event, my only recommendation is to make sure the vehicle you book will comfortably fit the number of people, so you don't end up smooshed in a car for hours of touring.

Claudia was a very good guide and driver. It was nice to have a personal tour. We had planned to take the all in one tour, but that was cancelled the last minute, but I think we got an upgrade.

Red Rose Tour and Transport picked us up at the ship on time along with our luggage, and then provided a fabulous drive all around the Island and across both countries. We saw all the best of history and nature. It is a very interesting island and there some lovely beaches. We stopped for photos whenever we asked, and had multiple opportunities to shop if desired. Driver then took us direct to the airport in time for check in later in the day. Thanks !

Wonderful tour with Happy Harold. A large vehicle that usually is a large taxi was for our group of 6, but it worked out great. Visited numerous beaches and local spots, great BBQ lunch and great final stop near shopping areas.

We knew we were in for a perfect tour when Kathryn created a custom itinerary with something for everyone in our 3-generation family. Our guide Dennis was fascinating, entertaining, and informative—the very best! AND, knowing it was our adult daughter’s birthday, we were greeted with a birthday balloon and bottle of wine, THEN, after we asked if we could stop at a bakery to get a cake before ending our tour, he arranged for Kathryn to get one for us… she even brought it to our hotel. On Christmas Eve no less!! What a fabulous experience! I can’t recommend this tour company and it’s personnel more highly!!
